I've either driven past or ridden past this place on the streetcar many times and have always wanted to stop. I am glad I finally did. I'm from Texas and take my BBQ very seriously, but this place didn't disappoint. So much flavor! I definitely enjoyed the Louisiana influence in the way the meats were smoked. Beers were cold. Staff was friendly. Can't wait to come back!

Stopped in for lunch one day and got the Chopped Brisket Sandwich with Red Beans & Rice. It was amazing and I’ll definitely be a returning customer as there are several other things on the menu I want to try.

Stopped by after 9:00 pm on Thursday night; there were a few other people inside; we had no wait-time. Ordered the BBQ Hurricane burger and the white-chocolate bread pudding. Both were delicious. I like my hamburger done (no pink in the middle) and while they did not ask how I wanted it, that is how it was served, so I was happy.
