One of my favorites when in the area! You can't pass up a breakfast biscuit when you're in town! And the grits, so dang good, this was the first place in Louisiana I had them, and nowhere else compares!
Today I tried out Hop-N-Shop Deli for the first time. I ordered the Lasagna, Spinach Madeline, Green Beans. It is apparently a Wednesday dish. The Lasagna was among the best Lasagna I have ever experienced, and I am a Lasagna fanatic! The sides were also great, without heavy spice, yet perfectly seasoned. The homemade bread that came with this meal is absolutely wonderful. I am actually going to plan my Plaquemine trips to work around these meals!
