“It gives me great pleasure to write this review. My mother recently had a stroke and she's come to my home to recover, along with my mentally challenged niece, though she's 20-years-old, her mentally capacity is that of maybe a 12-13 year-old and she doesn't like trying new things. However, since staying at my home, she's had to try new foods. I had decided to finally take a chance and ordered from this little slice of heaven, after seeing pictures of their menu items on DoorDash, because of my mom requiring a lot of my attention, DoorDash has become my go-to food delivery app until talking with my adult daughters and one offering to make crock-pot meals and freezing some. I had seen the Crawfish Pie Atchafalaya and debated on trying it a number of times but finally decided to order it one day while everyone else ordered from someplace else. It was at the time the best and worst decision lol; the worst and best because it was sooo good that I quickly became addicted to it and do mean if I could eat it every day I gladly would; however, after one bite, I would only offer my husband one bite to taste, he ordered from elsewhere lol. Next time we ordered, I had my niece try a bite and she too loved it just as much and would have me order her one almost daily for a week lol. One evening I went to place and order for 3 of them and they were out, my husband had the Catfish Atchafalaya and I ordered a Shrimp Plate, my niece ordered from somewhere else. My shrimp plate was just as good, my husband enjoy the Catfish Atchafalaya but not as much as the fried catfish plate and Crawfish Pie. My mom had been in and out of the hospital and one day asked for a catfish plate and I was excited for her to try Cajun Trinity but they weren't open this day, I believe it was a Sunday evening; she ended up settling for a shrimp plate from Our Mom's and it was cold when she received it and she wasn't impressed, she was hush puppies and what I mentioned from Cajun Trinity. When she finally came home, and we ordered from Cajun Trinity, she didn't want anything and wasn't hungry but did try my Crawfish Pie and loved it. The owner, Tammy, as sweet as her beignets, look under Lagniappe Beignets for that review. We have tried quite a bit from this little food truck, and have NEVER been disappointed. Scratch, that, I was slightly when I ordered the shrimp poboy only because it was the tiny gumbo/popcorn style shrimp rather than the ones that come on the shrimp plate but it did have the same wet dip and dry from the shrimp plate, so it was ok. If I were trapped on a deserted island and could only have one dining place, it would hands down be this food truck, especially since they do dessert, equally as good, if not better than the seafood. I will admit, I haven't tried the roast beef poboy but I will soon. I also cannot figure out where the poboy bread is from just yet. I'm born and bred New Orleanian and picky about food. The prices are reasonably for the food served here. I should add, I worked in the restaurant business all my life, Italian and New Orleans food, and even have relations to one of the most successful seafood restaurants in the Metairie/New Orleans area, this place beats them easily. I'm scared to try the roast beef cuz if it's better than theirs, and they've had what too many called the best roast beef poboys, I would have to admit it to them lol. I would post pictures but the food arrives and we dig in immediately, no time for pics in my family, lol. I hope this place stays around for many years, and stay just as it is, a food truck... I'm saying this it because the food isn't restaurant worthy. When a place like yours-small, locally owned & run, where the food quality is important to the owner(s) and the customers equally important... most times when it's transitioned into a restaurant, something is lost-not just in the flavor but the feeling of when, how and why you started sharing you delicious cooking with the public. Saw it happen with the &am“

“This place deserves more publicity and appreciation in NoLa.The food was hands down one of the best vegan food I have had in the US thus far. Very courteous staff, the chef is polite and makes you feel welcomed. Flavorful, balanced spices and ALL VEGAN. Must try if you're in the area. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal! They deserve all the success.“
