Coffee Shops near Port Barre

“Well it's nuts that this McDonalds in Port Barre always makes a better Frappe than the Grand Coteau and especially better than the Opelousas store. I like the fact that I can buy 2 cookies for only $1.39 here in Port Barre but Grand Coteau charges $1.89 for the exact same order. And Opelousas charges the same as Grand Coteau or even more. I never got down inside this particular McDonalds however it is inside a gas station.“

“Stopped in at Java Square Cafe after runnin errands in town and it turned out real nice. Coffee was hot and smooth, not burnt, and the pastry I grabbed tasted fresh like it just come out the oven. Place is cozy and clean, folks behind the counter were friendly and didn’t mind I walked in with work boots. For a small spot the prices felt fair, I’d sure swing back in for another cup.“

“I went to McDonald's yesterday morning for coffee as I often do. I was very pleasantly surprised at the young man who took my order, he was very polite and courteous. It is rare to find people like this anymore. Although I did not get his name, I will make it a point to , next time I visit for my morning coffee fix. He deserves recognition by the company for sure. I actually made a post about him yesterday on my facebook page and found out there are many of my friends who have encountered this young man and feel the same as I do.“
