“Ordered the seafood platter and a cup of gumbo. The seafood platter and etoufe was very good! The gumbo had good flavor but for $10 it had roux which was delicious and 5 tiny shrimps plus the bowl of rice, I like pepper , onion and celery this had absolutely no veggies! Please add a little more meat! And some veggies!! They are cheap and make a world of difference ,We will be back just make it better.“

“I had some of the best crawfish I’ve ever had here at Papa’s! We visited from Houston, my uncle from Opelousas sent us here. The owner Lanny was so nice and so was the other guy who was serving the crawfish. This crawfish was soooo flavorful! The spice level was PERFECT! The sauce was delicious and was a perfect dip for the crawfish. I would 10/10 recommend this place to everyone! We will definitely be back next time we’re in LA!“

“Gave this place a try. I had the House Special Fried Rice. It was really good but wow it had some spice. Not to much but didn’t expect it since I wasn’t asked if I wanted spicy or mild. “Can't argue that whatever you choose will be good. Always enjoyable service and people. I know it's been around for a long time but doesn't have to look like it. If I'm around I definitely will be stopping by but not really going to go out of the way.“
