“I'll start by saying I am a wimp of a Cajun. I can't handle spicy so I am beginner level on spice. Crawfish was juicy and a good mix of sizes. Comes standard with seasoning on top. I recommend asking for rinsed if you don't like to get dirty. The staff is accustomed to this request so don't feel too shy to ask. They sell their homemade dip and it's a nice size and is delicious. Onion was good perfectly cooked Delicious flavored sausage. One of my favorites. They offer Fountain Coke Products. BYOB - you can bring a small ice chest of your preferred adult beverage. They have crackers if you need a little snack while waiting, just ask. They have 2 dining rooms. The main dining is to the right with about 10 tables and the front is about 6 tables. They have a good setup to wash hands with GREAT soap. Bathrooms do not open direct to the dining room which I think is noteworthy. This particular time I went to the drive thru and it was delicious as always. It is one of the most consistent crawfish spots in Acadiana. Easily one of my top 3 based on overall experience.“

I don't remember what my family go but we were amazed by the quality and flavor of our meals. When my family tried the chicken on my sandwich, my grandfather got up and found our waitress to order one before they closed to take home to Lake Charles. We chatted with the staff and they were absolutely lovely. The service was unmatched and so welcoming. There weren't a lot of people when we got there but that's understandable considering it's Easter. So I can't speak on when it's busy but the atmosphere was so amazing. The music was classic. The part we sat in had windows and so much natural light. We got dessert and I can't understate how PHENOMENAL the creme brulee was. We got there in time for the lunch specials, fried & grilled catfish, wife had a crab cake appetizer she adored, salads, soup & green bean sides were delicious. Service was great, they have a large menu with lots of options, looking forward to dining with them again. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!!“

“Had the BEST experience using Crawfish Jake for our client appreciation event! Communication was prompt and professional leading up to the event. The staff that serviced our event was polite and accommodating considering the weather wasn’t on our side for part of it. They had backup plans for us if the weather didn’t work out. I didn’t have to worry about anything day of. They brought iced down drinks, boiled and plated crawfish and sides and had premade dip ready to go. They handled all trash and cleanup. I could seriously go on and on. Jake even checked in during the event to check on everything. And lastly, the crawfish were AMAZING! All of our clients raved about the perfect seasoning level, the crawfish were large and easy to peel and the staff made sure everyone was enjoying them and offered to make accommodations if necessary. 10/10 would recommend and will use again!“

“Came to the crawfish spot while in town for work as crawfish season is my favorite season. Nothing special about the decor but it's perfect for crawfish enthusiasts like myself. Plenty of parking as well. Kept it simple and ordered crawfish dip as well as some boiled crawfish with a level above mild seasoning. That dip was on of the best things I've ever put in my mouth, i could've ate that alone. The crawfish were cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Now the seasoning wasn't hot per say but after a few pounds it was burning me up from the inside. Nonetheless the crawfish was good as I revisited the next day for all you can eat crawfish and at about 8-9lbs before tapping out, this time with mild seasoning. Service was pretty good. They were informative of the menu and regularly checked with us. 2nd day there was a bit of a struggle as they were training someone but nothing bad things just took a little longer. Will be back in next crawfish season to see if i can eat 10lbs or more in one sitting!“
