“Dupuys was the first stop of this year's culinary expedition to New Orleans from Houston and to race in the 2024 Shamrockin Run New Orleans. The first stop was the highlight of this year's trip: Large and delicious gulf raw oysters, perfectly prepared friend seafood, friendly, and precise service from the waitstaff. The evening could not have been better. A cautionary note: The servings are very large; my mate's oyster po-boy, served cut in half, was huge and is easily shareable. If you are any where near Abbeville, Dupuys is a can't miss.“
“Servers keep visiting tables to make sure nothing is missing The rib eye is a thin cut. If you order medium, it will come well done, cooks to fast due to thickness Salad. Now that's a salad. Great size. Tasty Drinks. Normal options. Buffet size is good. Everything I tried was perfect. Their seafood gumbo it very good. Fried foods, plenty of options. Shrimp. Fish cooked two ways, extra crispy and normal. Boiled shrimp, crabs. Fried okra. I think they offered about twenty options on buffet, plenty. Atmosphere could use help. Loud rough finished. But I came to graze. Parking lot could use help. Lights outside would help. All said and done, I'll be back“

“i absolutely love this restaurant. it’s one of the best additions to abbeville in a long time. service is great, food is great, and everything is received quickly and efficiently. they also have a great team of workers that seem to enjoy what they’re doing. the lobby is clean and comfortable. my only complaint is that a cup of water costs $2, the same as getting a fountain drink. but other than that, i can’t recommend them enough.-tyler p“
“My husband ordered the pork roast, rice, gravy, green beans, and potato salad plate lunch, and I ordered the chuck steak, rice, gravy, green beans, and tomato cucumber salad plate lunch. Both lunches had a roll. Very delicious! Food was just cooked and served hot. This business is take-out, but we were allowed to park under a tree by the drive way to eat our lunches. The place is clean looking. The employee is nice. Also other foods were available to order.“
“I had not eaten crawfish in about 4 years so I went pick some up. The mild crawfish were very tasteful but the shells were so hard to peel. I had to throw some away bc my fingers were so raw from trying to peel them. They were the dark red shells. I like the lighter red shells bc they are so much easier to peel. I did not enjoy them as much as I had hoped bc I dreaded to peel the next one but they tasted great.“
“Wonderfully fresh and delicious oysters. We had raw and grilled oysters...the best! The crawfish etouffe was loaded with crawfish meat. Friendly and excellent service by Jillian. Highly recommend this spot for great food in a casual setting!“
