“While in town for Mardi Gras, the husband said we had to stop here cause it was one of his favorite places when he use to live in LA. And it was pretty good! The food was great! Those shrimp poorboys are hard to beat. I really wanted to try the OTF too but was told I couldn’t get half of that and half shrimp; can only get two fried choices for a half and half. So sad! But I have zero complaints about all shrimp! And the fries were delish. My only criticism is that the place is horribly crooked. The floor is falling in both directions and the tables lean like the world is trying to swallow it. Maybe just level out the tables attached to the walls for starters. “If you haven’t stopped at Firehouse Subs in new Iberia, you definitely should! The entire staff was so friendly and my two subs were made to perfection (even after the complicated modifications). The store was so clean and I also noticed they have a drive thru so that’s convenient.“
“The place was recommended by a friend. I read the mixed reviews and decided to give the place a try. Chloe was my server. I ordered the shrimp po’boy and fried chicken with a side of red beans and rice. The po’ boy was fantastic: lightly battered shrimp in a delicious and very crusty baguette with mayonnaise, tomato, lettuce and pickles. Simple and tasty! The fried chicken was also very good but the po’ boy was the star of the meal tonight. Service lagged at first but Chloe gave some very helpful suggestions and was attentive enough to make sure I never had to request for a refill of my soda. “I go at this subway and I been going there for a half a year and I'm giving 5 stars...There have been days where there was not enough product but what restaurant is perfect? Reason for that is more business.. the employees there are not perfect either they make mistakes and we shouldn't have to get bad reviews due to if our schedule is to clock out at same time we close that's not our fault... We always make sure store is clean before time because I and I'm not only one in this world that would clock out and finish cleaning for free I'm gonna get paid my time and make sure that for next shift they don't have it hard it's team work and as a customer I understand people can't get mad at employees for closing the customer needs to go at a reasonable time to get what they need. And our manager works just as hard and also more responsibility she has a boss over her so can't really complain about any of them at the store. I'm the type one person that has a bad day will not affect my mood and my day at my job. And another thing customers are not always right..“
“Came to have a quick lunch & was greeted by several employees. Layla took my order & was super sweet. I was even acknowledged by management (Caitlyn & Mallory) while they were working in the kitchen. My food was fresh and I got a lot for the price. Definitely will be coming back!“
