My favorite is the Kickin' Kay Lynne, followed by the Fancy Nancy, and Jalapeño Holly. “My grandparents live on the Jersey shore, so I grew up eating Jersey Mike’s. I was so excited when I learned that there was a location in Baton Rouge, and for the most part, it has always met and exceeded my expectations in terms of flavor and staff friendliness. Today I stopped by to grab my favorite sandwich- a Philly cheesesteak fully dressed Mike’s Way- but when I gave the staff member my order he looked at me like I had two heads. He asked me to repeat myself, and when I did, he told me with visible confusion that hot subs don’t come fully dressed. I explained I knew that, which is why I was specifically requesting it, and when he still didn’t look like he understood I reiterated “fully dressed...you know, tomatoes, lettuce, that sort of thing.” He sort of nodded, wrote my order down, gave me my slip of paper, and I figured that was the end of it. However, when he gave me my completed order, I decided to double check and ask if it had been fully dressed, and he said that yes, they’d put lettuce and tomato on. At this point I realized he still hadn’t understood what I wanted, but didn’t want to be THAT customer and hold up the line or bother the employees (cause I get it, service industry isn’t easy) so when I got home I unwrapped my decidedly not fully-dressed sandwich and added the missing condiments (mayo, pickles, salt and pepper, and oil and vinegar) myself. It’s definitely one of the only not-great experiences I’ve had with JM and while it’s not a huge deal, I’m not angry or upset, I wish I received what I’d ordered. I figured it may have been a new employee or someone who wasn’t used to that sort of request, and I won’t stop eating here, but perhaps letting the team know how to handle odd requests would be an easy fix should another situation like this occur.“
“The Italian Original is the closet Italian sub I have eaten in Louisiana from a sandwich shop that closely resembles the Italian sub from a privately owned and Italian owned shop in San Francisco. No, this is NOT a muffuletta. It was great. Something that would have made it better is if the bread could get toasted. I liked the shop. Employees were very nice.“
“First of all - Quiozel is awesome! He always has a smile for each and every customer and makes our visits enjoyable ( every single weekend ?)!!! He’s just fantastic!2nd- the sandwiches are super tasty( and I’ve tried nearly all of them ). I mostly prefer the chicken varieties- buffalo and California style. Highly recommend!“
“My sandwich was delicious. It was very fresh, and flavorful, and made exactly how requested. It was ready when I arrived to pick it up. I also had a whole pickle. I couldn't eat it all, but it was refreshing. The store was solidly clean. No debris. No dirty tables, no sticky spots on the floor or in front of the soda fountain... spotless. “A nice Subway thats been remodeled real well inside. Its great to come here if your waiting on a doctors apointment or if a family member or friend is in the emergency room and you wanna get something to eat. This location took a coupon that I had in the mail. Its open 24 hours which is great.“
“The selection of sub's are wonderful. Love how you have the choice of 4, 8 or 12" of any sub. They have the pretzel bites that are die for delicious. Their choices of drinks is amazing. They have an orange cardamom ice tea that is to die for. Kid friendly and pleasant atmosphere makes the place a nice place.“
