Been going to El Chico’s for over 50 years. The last visit will probably be my last visit. Service was horrible and the food was worse. Have they come under new management. If so, they will be out of business in no time. Tables were dirty when we arrived. Those same tables were still dirty after we finished lunch. Food was cold coming out of the kitchen and was not good. Very bland.

After 6 long years, I finally made it back to El Chico’s in Shreveport—and it did not disappoint! 🙌
Derrick was our waiter, and he was absolutely on point the entire time. Drinks, salsa, and chips were always full without us even having to ask. He was so friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make our experience great.

Food was bland , chicken was tough and cold and rice dish was cold bland and watered down. First time there last time there ! Waitress was very nice though !
