I normally stop by for lunch at least once a week. It's amazingly consistent. I'd be hard-pressed to pick a favorite there, but the pimento cheese ( I'm a pimento cheese fanatic) is stellar! All of the soups are good, and the bread pudding( available the first week of the month only) is worth the calories and then some. The apple pie ( a la mode of course) is delectable, and, if you're lucky, you'll dine when they have coconut cream pie available. This place is a Shreveport treasure.
I don’t even know where to start. I got a chicken salad sandwich which was delicious and full of chicken salad. It was also on regular white bread which was amazing because I don’t think you can get that anywhere anymore. It’s always some hard artisan crap. I also got two soups. Both homemade, cream of broccoli and clam chowder. Both delicious can’t imagine how you would improve them.
