Southfield Grill Reviews
This is cheaper than Strawn's with the same kind of food. The owner has chosen to put up grumpy signs, including one that says, don't stand in front of this POS computer. There is sometimes the smell of dirty mops in the air. And once I found a hair in my food that matched my waitress's hair. They don't require caps. Tony just needs to clean up his act. This isn't a biker's bar.
My wife & I had breakfast there today. I ordered hash browns I got frozen homefries that had been air fried or microwaved they were dry, hard, & had no flavor. The eggs were good. The biscuits were good. 2 small sausage patties that were cooked weeks ago then warmed up, they were dry, hard & had no flavor. My wife ordered pancakes & ham. The ham tasted like canned ham that had been soaked in bleach water. The pancakes were bland. We were grossly disappointed. We will not be returning.
Love all the southern comfort food, but grilled pork chops and grits are my favorite!

Southfield Grill serves generous portions of homemade-tasting biscuits and delicious cubed potatoes. Their plate lunch special changes daily and is a great value, with the Thursday fried pork chop being a standout. While some dishes, like butter beans and fried squash, evoke a homemade feel, others, like smothered porkchop and chicken and dumplings, can be disappointing. The staff is always friendly and the food comes out pretty quickly. It's a great spot for breakfast or any meal, with pancakes looking amazing and pie being a must-try. They are busy on Sundays and Saturdays, but a little wait is expected for great service. The inside is clean. Closed on Mondays.
