Bars near Starks

“Only been there once. And was working/visiting from North Dakota. Slanging steak. First time ever visiting Louisiana and within 10 minutes of crossing the border. Made money selling steaks at the bar like I do up north... ppl were nice, drunk, southerners. One lady tried to tell me how I do my job. I laughed n smiles n said ok n continued on my day. But they were nice enough to let a clearly outsider (northerner) come hangout for a bit n make some money. So for that, even without ordering a single drink. This my favorite, to date, bar in Louisiana. Too bad il probably never git to come back. But I had something good to say, so I did.

Needs to be more bars down there.
Was one of the only ones I found. Not in the big city of Houston.“
