I would describe the aura of the bar as tight knit and everyone’s ready to go crazy and let loose. Comedy 409 has personally worked with this establishment and had a successful night of comedy all thanks to Stix’s fearless owner Carly Lange and her amazing team of bartenders. “Best fried shrimp po'boy ive ever had i think... shrimp tasted like it was pulled from the gulf that morning lightly seasoned and perfectly cooked, toasted roll, simply amazing. The flavor of the shrimp stood out on its own i cant wait to go back and have the shrimp by itself. My wife had the fried chicken sandwhich, bun is incredible chicken fried to perfect, she said could've used some more seasoning on the chicken tho. I highly recommend Hamiltons in port arthur texas 9.8 out 10!!!!!!!“

“5 stars as always! You can never beat the service and food at The Pompano. I had the filet last night and it was excellent! We had a party of 14 for a birthday celebration, Heather was our waitress, she was so attentive to bring us anything we needed. Shawn and Justin helped us in anything we needed too! Go try them out for a excellent meal and great atmosphere!“

“Had a great time here, good food, and friendly staff. Started off with chips and salsa. Salsa was great, amazing flavor with just the right amount of heat. We ordered the Chile con queso and the queso blanco, both were fine on their own but a little disappointing after the salsa. The Mexican Candy Margaritas were outstanding just be careful with this smooth cocktail it will sneak up on you. Our entrée was the Tamale deluxe perfectly cooked. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.“

“We came late Saturday night. The restaurant was quiet and only about 4 tables filled. Unfortunately, we got seated at a table by the bar, so it was lots of TVs, lots of noise, and lots of overstimulation. It looked like they were cleaning the restaurant area and not wanting anymore tables over there, so we settled into our booth.

The server was very friendly and helped us with ordering. I got the 3 items ... ribeye, elote corn, and mashed potatoes. They were absolutely heavenly. My steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare. My food came out piping hot. I also got chicken enchilada soup with was YUM!!

My husband got the burger and fries. He loved his as well. It was perfectly cooked. Fries were piping hot and perfectly seasoned.

They had some yummy desserts I wish we had time to try. The skillet cookie looked divine!! I'm gonna have to try it next time.

I ended up leaving my purse and the had already closed. Thankfully we were able to go up there and they were still cleaning and was able to give me my purse. It still had my huge wad of cash in there. So definitely some trustworthy employees working there.
