“I had grilled shrimp tacos. One of my shrimp was not peeled. Shell on. I had already taken a bite and was chewing when I discovered this. I put that bite in my napkin. Knowing I have UC if I had swallowed it I would have ended up in the ER. After having pointed this out to the waitress she removed the grilled shrimp from our bill.Great restaurant. Very busy. “The food is delicious! They're a little higher priced than some Mexican restaurants in town, depending upon what dish you get, but well worth the price. The Birria menu and the Carnita menu are the best, the margaritas are yum and not watered down, and we LOVE the wait staff so much! They've become very good friends to us. ❤️ ❤️“
“I wish I had gotten photos of all the plates on the table. And had bites of everyone else's food!Fresh hot rolls were so soft and delicious. My fried shrimp were seasoned wonderfully! Not overly Salty, but just right for me. Not a fan of fries. But they offer home-made potato chips as a side too and I wish I'd gotten them. “Pretty nice place with really great food!! We came here after hearing about it from my wife's cousin. The menu has plenty of really good looking dishes and appetizers to choose from! They do have kids menus, but you have to ask as it's not on their menu sheet. I ordered the Big Dixie , a big chicken fried chicken breast in Buffalo sauce with Bleu cheese crumbles and Lettuce and tomatoes with a side of their beer cheese fries. My wife ordered their BLT and a side of the beer cheese fries. We got our son the kids chicken strips and fries with BBQ sauce dip. They both had Cokes for their drinks, while I had Dos Equis draft. My Big Dixie buffalo chicken sandwich was really good as were the Beer cheese fries!! My wife said her BLT and beer cheese fries were delicious also. Our boy said he really liked his chicken strips and BBQ dipping sauce. The place has a really nice ambience and there are quite a few TV screens on the walls for sports etc... Our waitress came by to check on us a few times to make sure we were doing ok. We agreed we wouldn't mind coming back in for lunch again sometime. There wasn't a very big crowd in there at the time either!“

“Nice little tavern to go and hang out at! Staff is fast and friendly! The boudain eggrolls are fantastic! Nice place to play pool and the tables are in great condition! I only gave this place 4 stars because I'm not a smoker and smoking is allowed here but it wasn't overwhelming and tolerable.“
