“Being from out of town, this was our first time eating at this café. When we went in, we were the only ones there, as they were closing in 45 minutes and apparently they really didn’t want us in there! The person behind the counter was very rude, and did not help in the selection of our sandwich meats or breads, as we did not know we had a choice. She then got even more frustrated when I asked for my receipt after I paid with my debit card! The sandwiches we ordered were very good, except the pulled pork sandwich, which my husband had, was cold in the center. He did say it tasted good, but was cold, and it was supposed to be a warm sandwich. Even though the food was good, the service was so terrible that if and when we ever return to this part of Louisiana again, we will be sure and not go to this café! There’s got to be other food places that would appreciate us coming in and treat us like they were happy to have us come in their eating establishment!”

“Rain affected the food being ready due to wet wood but the owner Greg fixed us a complimentary plate for the road trip to hold us over.. Traveling from Waxo to Baton Rouge. He was so kind, giving and food was so delicious and asked nothing in return.

“After a few rough experiences over the last year. I tried them again the last few months since they’ve come under new owners and management. So much better! Everything is always fresh, in stock and service is great. Ms Lisa is always nice and helpful, as well as the other employees. We will definitely keep returning and happy to have them close by.”

“We love our Stonewall Sonic. Great food always,friendly and very clean. But last evening a group of people reviving their cars,trucks up. Speedy around parking lot. Running up down sidewalk screaming. There were several senior citizens trying to back out to leave and they were getting upset. First time we ever had this experience. Not good look.”

“My Wife and I eat there quite often for lunch. The meals we have eaten there has always been TOP SHELF DELICIOUS AND EXCELLENT, as well as the SERVICE. I particularly always enjoy their cheeseburgers with fries. Their hamburger steak is delicious too and it is served with homemade gravy instead of gravy out of a package like most restaurants do. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT. OH, forgot to mention, their catfish on Friday is DELICIOUS too, and they serve AMERICAN raised catfish instead of that fish that comes from overseas.”

“This is one of my favorite restaurants and even when I don’t get to go as often as I would like, every time I go, the quality of the food and drinks is the best. Today I went with my husband and toddler. We chose to eat outside because our son can get a little loud and wants to wander around. We ordered the special prickly pear margarita. I absolutely loved it. For me, it had the perfect balance of alcohol and sweetness. I would love if they would offer a frozen version too. I ate the fish ceviche with the prickly pear and I think it was perfect. It brought me back to my hometown in Yucatán where ceviche is sold on a daily basis. It was so fresh and again, had the perfect balance of lime juice and spicy flavor. And on a side note, we ordered a cheese quesadilla for my son and this is one of the few times where he has eaten the whole thing! The quesadilla had the perfect temperature to be eaten right away, the plate wasn’t hot, the quesadilla was soft, cheese was gooey. This made my evening because as a mother I noticed those details. Our server was nice all the time. Thank you to the wonderful team of El Cabo Verde 💚.”

“Dylan Teekell is a CULINARY GENIUS. He combined pani puri and deviled eggs. HAHA WHAT? Omg The food last night at the Library was SO. GOOD. And the drinks were amazing - Claire the Best Bartender has a serious following and I love her and will follow her wherever she will go NEW FAVE SPOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! “From the time I walked in I felt welcome. My sister circle decided to dine here and I am so glad we did! The aesthetics we’re on point-contemporary chic and clean. Very warming atmosphere. The service was top tier! The waitress and the owner were very attentive to our needs! The food was amazing and full of flavor and huge portions. We even opted for dessert and had the Baklava and it did not disappoint. I will definitely be back!”

“It's been a while (years) since I've eaten at a Raising Cane's. Food is still very good, large pieces of chicken and a lot of fries. Establishments are always clean. My only complaint would be that the price has almost doubled! However that seems to be everywhere.”

“Live out of town, been wanting to try there food. Ordered seafood platter Didn't want fries so lady taking order said would give e c tra slaw and tomatoe relish. Got home there was no fries and no slaw and no pickled tomatoes. Seafood had good taste. Ordered muffaleta. Tasted ok but had no olive relish on it. Little things but for price gotta speak of it. .”

“One of my favorite burgers in Shreveport! We usually go on Tuesday and get them to go, but this time we went in, and it was awesome! I think the bar area is better than the dining area as far as ambiance goes, but it was also super empty when we came because of the weather, so I think if it was full I wouldn’t be as hard on the dining room. Our server Jacob was super friendly, we’ve met him in the drive through before and he is always great! He pointed out the desserts to me tonight and I got a banana pudding with bruleed bananas, it was top notch! For my appetizer I had the deviled eggs, and they were pretty good, not my style but worth the $8. I can’t wait to come back and compare their jäger schnitzel or chicken Parm to mine. Love this place!”

“Minden location ❤️ HUGE shout out to one of our favorite local restaurants in Minden! I placed an order for pickup this evening with the impression that Sean would be back in time with our vehicle to pick it up before closing. As luck would have it, he got held up and wasn't going to be able to make it back in time. So I called the restaurant, in a panic 🥴, 10 minutes before closing and asked if I could pay someone to bring it to our shop which is about 1 mile away. Without hesitation, they said one of their workers would! A few minutes later, Michael (one of their waiters) showed up with a HUGE smile on his face and delivered our food! I seriously CANNOT express how grateful I am for the kindness of this business and their waiter who took the time to make sure I received our food after a long busy day for everyone. Folks, THIS is one of the BEST examples of what customer service and amazing hospitality is. Instead of choosing to say "tough luck, hate it for ya", they chose to go above and beyond by saying, "don't stress, we've got you!" We need more businesses like this. We need to support LOCAL more than we do. These businesses depend on us keeping it local. I can promise you that El Jimadore will continue to have our lifelong business and I will make sure to always ask for Michael when he's available.
