“They had a special menu advertised for Mother's Day. However, for such a special occasion, they did not plan for staff/server absences. Many tables were not being used on the patio area, because they were short of servers. This was poor planning. To take your Mother or anyone for such an occasion and endure a 3+ hour wait is unacceptable.”

“The oyster bar on the banks of Bayou Sarah, near the Mississippi River just outside the town of St. Francisville is one of my favorite places to socialize and have a drink, or food. The food varies between food trucks or different dishes prepared by the bar. The staff is wonderful and prices aren't outside the usual for the area. They have a wonderful outdoor patio overlooking Bayou Sarah. They normally have live music Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Wednesday they normally do bingo which always has a good turn out! They also babe a pool table inside.”

“My wife hired the Boiling Branch to cater a rehearsal supper, and we were well pleased. They delivered on time and were extremely helpful in serving up the crawfish. The crawfish had a very good flavor. The price was reasonable, and we would definitely consider going back with them for any future events.”

“The best burger in the whole town is right here at the Myrtles Plantation - The Carriage House! The restaurant is nice and a lil ghostly encounter is always a slight possibility. Additionally, the villas are designed for a special get away weekend. You will love it!”

“Walked into a cute homey restaurant that feels like a locals hang out. The gentleman welcomed us in and had us choose our table. Never having been here before we asked for suggestions, and he offered a few of his favorites. One of his suggestions was the grilled chicken Caesar wrap, and I'm glad I decided on that. It was delicious. The chicken was juicy and tender, not everyone can do that. My hubby decided on a cheese burger. He ate it in 3 big bites so I think he liked it. He had his choice of cheeses, and each plate came with a choice of side. We chose potato salad and cole slaw but couldn't finish them. I hated to leave them. Our bill with 2 iced teas came to $35. The restaurant was a random choice, and I'm glad we found it. One thing to note Sunday is limited hours, you may want to check their times.”

They serve a homemade burger called the Bengal Burger and it is SO GOOD, all of the food is ❤️ Phone orders taken, grest customer service and a comfortable dine-in are available.
