Had breakfast there this morning. Two pancakes 3.50,cup of grits 1.75, coffee1.50 ,all fair prices.Got receipt, sub total before tax was 7.02 . Penny's Cafe offers delicious meals like dill grilled cheese, seafood gumbo, liver and onion, and hot sausage poboy. The buffet is a big hit, with generous portions until you can't eat anymore. The friendly staff, including Ava, provides incredible service. The cafe is kid-friendly, with activities for little ones, and parking is convenient with plenty of spots available. Visitors can look forward to daily menus and special seafood nights for $28. The place has a cozy, relaxed vibe, and the food tastes like home, especially the seafood, which is always spectacular when in season. The fried chicken is highly praised for being crispy, juicy, and seasoned perfectly, often making guests reconsider all other meals they’ve had. Portions are big, prices are fair, and flavors are out of this world. While breakfast pancakes might be small, the overall experience is great. Service is always prompt and friendly, making Penny’s Cafe a welcoming spot for a satisfying meal with excellent service.
