“I met my family for lunch today after I had gotten off of work early. The last time I had food at this location (drive thru), there was an issue with it. I waited a while until I returned. The same issue happened again today. The manager, Shawn, immediately came to apologize to me at the table. He had fresh food come out to me super quick. He also returned to check on us, gave us a gift card, and said that he hoped we would return to give this location another chance. A bad situation that was turned into a positive one.. thanks to Shawn for effectively displaying great service recovery! I will definitely be returning!“

“While the food is usually good (most of the time soggy if you’re ordering from the drive thru) don’t ever expect to get an extra sauce. It seems every time I go they never give me the extra sauces I pay for. Canes is really nothing without their sauce which is why it’s so important to receive it. It’s annoying because not only am I paying almost an extra dollar for 2, but it seems more common to not receive a sauce than to get one. Most of the employees are really nice but there’s the handful that have an attitude or don’t say one word to you. This really is one of the better Canes, but I just wish it was guaranteed I get my extra sauce.“

Tonight, I decided to give the Ambassador location a try and I was thoroughly impressed!! The service was friendly, helpful, and on point. The location is the cleanest in Lafayette. And the food was magnificent!! The chicken was crunchy on the outside, spicy, and it was so juicy and tender!! The biscuits were deliriously buttered and cooked hot and fresh. I was surprised by how soft they were like a biscuit should be. Thank you to the staff at this location. Popeyes has my favorite fried chicken and I am grateful that you brought my faith back in "Popeyes." I will be returning, but only to your location!! Great job and thank you again!!“

“I frequent this location because I love Popeyes. The food is always great. The wings here are amazing. The only bad thing about this location and it is pretty consistent Is the wait time in the drive-thru. I've learned my lesson and don't even go through the drive-thru. And if you think ordering online is going to save you some time high-speed internet is not transferable to this location. I was being a sweetie and letting the lady behind me go first. She said she ordered online so it should be fast. When she got to the counter they told the cook to drop her chicken. I went ahead placed my order and made it out before her.You know what they say" Good things come to those who wait"??“
