“This is a sweet little neighborhood place that I just love, I think I’m in here 2-3 times a week, I get cravings! FRESH FRESH food and the service, the people are SO nice, professional and friendly. The only recommendation I would have to the business itself is add a way to put a tip on when you pay via your phone or credit card. All it allows you to do is pay for the meal, tips are cash, but who carries cash anymore? Attention management of Los Amigos - area for improvement - add tip feature for auto / card payments!“

“Although this place no longer exists in the heart of Harvard Square, which was the mother location, sadly closed after the pandemic but two other locations have remained open one in Burlington and one in saugus. Always agree time and very accommodating to larger parties. Free chips and salsa and refills aren't necessarily something that every restaurant does anymore and if you're looking for a simple fun and tasty snack on meal this place is worth it. Fans of country music and blues music will love this place because they have been loyal to the music they've been playing over there sound system the last 30 some odd years. There's really no other Mexican / Cajun restaurant like the Border Cafe so if you ever on route 1 or find yourself in Burlington Mass or want to make the trip, if anything it's definitely a fun place to go.“

“Great spot for a quick bite. Never fails to produce a tasty burrito with great additions. I love getting a jumbo spicy steak with the cilantro lime rice and all the other toppings. It's been a weekly staple for my food rotation and I look forward to one of those tasty rolled up packages of goodness every time!“

I love their chicken burritos with plantains in them. It makes it sweat and it mixes well with the savoy rice beans and fajita veggies. I also like their shrimp tacos. I highly recommend this place. “Went there for dinner, ordered chicken and steak fajitas and fish tacos. Fish tacos were excellent with all sorts of vegetables, the fish inside was fried to perfection, the sauce was excellent. The fajitas were a little too salty, but the steak was very tender and grilled perfectly. The chicken was juicy and also grilled perfectly. Ordered a Gumbo for appetizer, but they brought it to us as the entree sized portion, when I told them that I had ordered the Gumbo as an appetizer, they immediately sent it back to the kitchen, and brought us an appetizer sized Gumbo. Overall, a decent experience, will come again!“

No problems with customer service, as clean as a mall can be, but more importantly, the food is better than any other Taco Bell I’ve had in the state. That seems ridiculous but I’m not exaggerating. I thought Taco Bell was going downhill until I came here and realized that it was just those other places. I wanted to write a review purely for that reason.“
