“The food was amazing! We had the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich both with gluten free bread. The bread was delicious and held together well. The consistency was perfect compliment. The portions were a large size as well!“

Reservations highly encouraged, but our timing worked out perfectly and we got two seats at the bar! Had a delicious meal starting with crispy shrimp with sriracha, lemon garlic aioli, cilantro then we shared a Caesar salad, lightly dressed and not too garlicky and had Wasabi tuna and NY Strip steak for our entrees! ““Pure Pastry” was highly recommended by “Cakes for Occasions” because they couldn’t make a Vegan cake. So I called and asked Kim to make my son who is a Vegan an all Vegan birthday cake. We were all pleasantly surprised at how delicious and moist his chocolate cake was with vanilla cream frosting with strawberries in the middle and on top was. Five people ate this cake and we all loved the taste. It looked beautiful too. Another thing I also love about this bakery is the cake box. The cake fit in the box very nicely and on the top you could see the cake through a see through film which was an elegant touch. My son’s cake was so good that I had to order a Vegan strawberry vanilla cake for my birthday too. I can’t wait to get it. Kim is so very friendly and such a nice person and she is very easy to get a hold of on the phone. I very highly recommend Kim and “Pure Pastry” for all of your pastry needs.“

Colette Bakery in Melrose has some of the best pastries around! I’m a sucker for chocolate croissants, and the Cho-colette croissant at Colette is so delicious (pro tip, take the croissant home and toss in the air fryer to warm the pastry!)

“Delicious food!! Like wow the tots and the sandwiches are next level. Pepper jelly and homemade garlic bread made for a real good day. Busy but cool vibe as well in there. And I need to try a loaded croissant. They were busy but my only complaint is still just how long we waited for our food. Even our drinks too. It was like table service restaurant wait times. But still worth it in the end with how tasty it is“

I highly recommend them for specialty cakes or cookies, as I feel they can do anything you want perfectly! If you like caramel delights, that is the best cupcake I’ve ever had! The cakes I’ve ordered from there are always moist, and delicious. The staff is so friendly as well! I got over 100 cookies made by them for my wedding for my seating chart and everyone raved about them! I just got my rainbow birthday cake from there and it’s sooooo cool! I highly recommend!“

“I have had many satisfying and delicious experiences at “The Nut” over the years (decades), and really enjoyed coming to 15 Walnut on my annual visit to my family. However, this time, the choice of loud heavy metal guitar playlist made conversation impossible, and the ubiquitous and obnoxious big screen tvs didn’t give us a moment of peace. I am done with giving my business to restaurants that intrude on even precious moments of connection and companionship. The service was extremely slow as well.“
