Reservations highly encouraged, but our timing worked out perfectly and we got two seats at the bar! “I ordered my daughters 6th birthday cake from La Casa Del Pandebono and it literally the best experience I’ve ever had with any business. Not only was the custom cake beautiful and delicious, they provided a level of exceptional customer service that I didn’t even know existed. The “Tangled” cake included a beautiful edible gold crown as it’s center piece, and it was packaged separately. Despite my best efforts to handle it carefully, I accidentally broke it the night before the birthday party. I texted the owner asking if he has recommendations for me to reassemble it (knowing it was unlikely, but I was desperate). He immediately responded and asked for my address, letting me know he’d deliver a new one when he closed the store (I live in another town). I was shocked at his generosity and beyond grateful. As an expression of gratitude, a sent him an additional tip which he politely attempted to reject (I wouldn’t allow it…haha). In return, he delivered not only the grown, but an order of birria tacos and an empanada (which I was admiring when I went to pick up the cake) - literally the best tacos I’ve ever had. I cannot emphasize how touched I was by this experience. La Casa Del Pandebono is a rare gem - baked goods that are truly a work of art, and incredible food that is only surpassed by the unbelievable customer service. I will be a customer for life.“

“This is my favorite coffee spot in Beverly. They are always well staffed and friendly, and their baristas are consistent with drink and espresso shot quality. I’ve been here often enough over the past year that I can tell they have good staff retention, which is a good sign that they treat their people well, and I know helps with that quality and consistency.

I recommend their hot chocolate with their house made marshmallow, anything with espresso in it, and their tot bowls. Their tater tots are delicious and any sandwich can be made into a tot bowl.

I would skip the bakery items unless you have a little one, they are the only item type that I’d skip here. That said, I’d love to see babka or homemade poptarts in the case, but am happy with my hot food and iced latte.“

The croissants we purchased were absolutely delicious, while the macarons were great as well. Street parking was a bit of a challenge but worth the effort. “We were on a trip and found this Cafe during our walk through the historic places in Boston. It offers delicious pastries, various breakfast sandwiches and lots of options for coffee and tea. Their orange juice is spectacular and the closest one to a real orange juice I've ever had. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The dining area is a little small for the number of the customers but there are also chairs and tables outside. The Croissant breakfast sandwich and the Honey Halva Latte we had were so delicious. He was prompt but we never felt rushed. the food was excellent, the Lobster cones are a great new item. we also had the classic mussels. The grilled salmon was delicious.
