“What a pleasant surprise! The service was impeccable, atmosphere was great and the food delicious! The restaurant was also right in front of our hotel...a plus if you are tired but hungry after a day of xc skating.
The only thing that was off because of expectations, was the fried chicken...it was more like a breaded chicken cutlet. It was still delicious though! We'll definitely come back!“

“First time here and absolutely loved it! They were short staffed and handled it great! Our server was amazing as well. Our table meals consisted of baked scallops, broiled scrod, clam chowder, clam strips and everyone enjoyed the meals. Will definitely come back on my next visit!“

“Last night, my husband and I ate here for the first time. We both had the chicken dinner, served with mashed potatoes, grilled butternut squash & a cranberry chutney. WOW!! What an amazing meal. We both agreed that it was the best meal that we have ever had in a restaurant. We loved the candlelit ambiance, the pleasant wait staff & the out of this world fabulous food. We will definitely be coming back.“

“We ran into Renee's accidentally and it was a fabulous find! The food was great. The service enjoyable. Price is good. Owner Renee is very friendly. We liked it so much we went back a second morning. The location is convenient and has a unique vibe between the Y road intersection and the old vehicle lot with classic bus.“

“We've dined here twice so far (one weekday lunch for 2 and one weekend large party dinner) and thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. The outdoor seating is lovely, the wait staff is friendly, and the food has consistently been flavorful and well-prepared.
On both visits, we tried to order a specific menu item that unfortunately wasn’t available. While that was a bit of a letdown, the dishes we ended up choosing were excellent and left us just as satisfied. Everything we've tried so far has been wonderful.
We look forward to returning again soon—this time hoping to sit at the bar and experience the restaurant from a different perspective.“

“Ate lunch with mom & dad today. Finally a place with good COFFEE. Great omelette,scallops were great, homemade coleslaw was great. I had the good buckwheat pancakes. Their food is reasonably priced,allot cheaper than other local restaurants, but better for sure. 👍👌“

“One of my favorite places to visit with family and friends. Always a great meal and the best margaritas in town ! The service is excellent and everyone is so friendly . From homemade chips and salsa to the awesome guacamole so much of the menu is made to order with the freshest ingredients . The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable so come on over and enjoy yourself at Desperados !“

“We enjoyed a nice dinner sitting by the window in the wingback chairs. Our waitress Marki was so friendly and attentive! I ordered the special. Beef Tenderloin risotto with blistered tomatoes and asparagus topped with bleu cheese. My husband ordered the NY Strip Sirloin. Everything was perfect! Chef was on point!“

“On a snowy morning we discovered Pappa Charlie's. What an amazing selection of great sandwitches! Made with care and carefully sourced ngredients, just perfect. A sustantial vegetarian menu is appreciated. Coffee was also good, as was the kind staff. Will be back, no doubt!“

“Decent kitchen, burgers are some of the best in town and the chicken tenders are right up there with Big Daddy's. Also recommend the Chicken Fried Chicken, its great. Only downside is they tend to be understaffed so you might be waiting depending on how busy it gets, takeout has generally been very prompt as long as you call ahead.“
