“Dinner last night at Mario's did not disappoint. I have to say first that this was our second time there, first time our waiter was Brian. When I made reservations for our second trip I asked for Brian, he was not on last night. Shea (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was our waitress. Shea was so pleasant ,laughed and joked with us. We were with another couple who had never been. They said for sure they'd be back. Next time we will ask for Brian or Shea. It makes all the difference in who your server is, thank you Shea!“

“As a vegetarian I was more than impressed by the plant based options both appetizers and main. All the food had deep complex flavors which were delicious. The hummus plate and roasted parsnips appetizers were incredible. I had the lentil tofu main and really enjoyed it, full of different textures and very satisfying. It's hard to find a restraunt that truly embraces plant based while also keeping meat eaters happy. My partner had the beef tenderloin and was equally impressed. Restraunt had a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It is small so if you prefer a table over the bar a reservation would be recommended. Bar service for us was a pleasant experience with very attentive service.“
“The Gnome Bistro offers a culinary experience that is both enchanting and satisfying. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by an ambiance that transports you to a whimsical world of flavor and delight. Our dining experience at The Gnome Bistro was nothing short of delightful. The menu boasted a diverse selection of dishes, each crafted with care and attention to detail. From savory appetizers to decadent desserts, there was something to tantalize every palate. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the main course. The flavors were bold and vibrant, showcasing the chef's expertise in combining ingredients to create dishes that were both comforting and innovative. Every bite was a revelation, leaving us eager for more. However, it's worth noting that the only drawback of our experience was the wait time for our food to arrive. While the quality of the dishes was unquestionable, it took a bit longer than expected for them to reach our table. Nonetheless, the attentive staff and charming atmosphere helped to alleviate any feelings of impatience. In conclusion, dining at The Gnome Bistro was a delightful experience that left a lasting impression. Despite the minor inconvenience of a longer wait time, the exceptional quality of the food more than made up for it. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience that will transport you to a world of culinary delight, look no further than The Gnome Bistro.“
“Run, don’t walk to Cello! Truly a gem in the dining scene of The Berkshires! Small, intimate and cozy with food that is so fresh and innovative! Amanda, Cody and the two incredible chefs have worked together as a team for quite some time and it shows through the energy, vibe and level of service at the restaurant. The menu changes nightly and it truly highlights the talents of the two chefs! To better sample the menu I had 3 starters as my meal, the kale caesar, the big eye tuna tartar and the clam croquettes. A perfect trifecta! Thank you guys for such a special evening!!“
“Need a great bagel and a cup of coffee? Look no further than bagel and brew. Not the biggest menu by any means, but they have all that you could need in a bagel shop. We got an everything bagel with the buffalo cream cheese. The buffalo cream cheese has the perfect kick to it. We also got a salt bagel with scallion cream cheese that was great! Nice, small local spot that's perfect for a delicious and quick breakfast.“

“We happened upon Flo's while visiting the area.It doesn't look like much from the outside but once inside it is like a step back to a simpler time. Katie was our waitress. She was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast menu is extensive and the food came quickly and was good. The coffee really hit the spot. So happy we stopped in“
“The best blueberry pancakes around! Tasty food, amazing low prices and the friendliest staff. The restaurant is 70 years old and they haven’t updated much with the interior but that’s why it’s so charming. If you need frills, this isn’t the place for you. For everyone else… run here. It is cash only!“
“I went to dinner last week with a friend and my significant other. Everything we had was delicious! Shrimp and grits were AMAZING! We also had pulled pork with the dirty rice. So good! Not to mention the drinks..... Craig served us amazing drinks!! We will be back“
“Jason and team have always been consistent. I guess that's why the restaurant has been there for 25 years? Wife and I had the Boeuf Bourguignon and the Grilled Pork Chop. Both were excellent! We commented to each other that it was the best meal we've had in a restaurant all year. Thanks Bistro Zinc!“
“Had lunch here after exploring the village of Lenox. For a weekday in fall 2022 it was quite crowded. Tough to find a table but we lucked out with the timing. The staff were attentive even with the crowds but not overly so.The beer selection was decent with some good local options.Food was good solid pub food. The wraps (pictured) are hearty and well made. This is a good place to enjoy a nice lunch or just enjoy drinks with friends.“
“Can there be some sort of vaccination karaoke night lol. 5 years ago the last time I went there it was awesome I don't drink but it was cool to hang out with all the local townies everybody was cool there as long as you're an alpha male but I would really like to see some karaoke“
“I'm pretty sure this is the best fried chicken in the Berkshires. I ordered buffalo wings with french fries and everything was perfect Our food was cooked to order, the wings were fall off the bone tender and wonderfully crumchy. The french fries tested like the were cooked in fresh clean oil. The young man behind the counter was very polite and helpful as well.“
“Stopped in on our way home in search of a good steak. Unfortunately, we did not realize that the steak we saw online was a Valentine's day special and no longer available the following night. So we opted for a cheese & charcuterie appetizer, steak frites, and pork tenderloin for our mains. The cheese selection was very nice accompanied by out-of-this-world garlic jam. There was a $5 additional charge to add the charcuterie - a helping of speck. We would have appreciated even a $10 add-on with more salumi variations. The frites & tenderloin while very good, were not exciting in flavor profile. The Burnt Old Fashioned was excellent as was an interesting red varietal (never had it and the name escapes me). Portions were great as well as the staff & surroundings.“
“Great food and the cafe itself is quite nice. I gave 4 stars for service due to it seemed like the wait staff didn't really care for take out orders and seemed to rather care more about talking amongst themselves then making sure we where taken care of and had a slight attitude while taking the “
“Had us drive 3+ hour for a tour of the venue to potentially have our wedding there when they fully knew that the facility was closing down. They didn’t divulge any of that to us and completely wasted our time. Led us completely astray when they could have been transparent and honest and saved us a weekend of traveling. Further, the woman we were supposed to meet with didnt even show up and the person we met with didnt know about wedding details and was completely off base with prior conversations we had. I would suggest looking else where as this place is clearly is between management companies and transitioning to other things.“
“The place was super busy, but we were able to find a table quickly. The service was quick, and the food was quite tasty. We ordered the fried green beans as our appetizer. They were perfectly fried and the sour cream and horseradish dip was delicious. We ordered three of their baby hot dogs with "everything" (special sauce, mustard, and onions. The baby hot dogs are about 3.5 " long and simply adorable. They were yummy. My husband ordered their Texas burger, it does not come with a side. It would have been nice if our server had pointed this out. The patty looked dry but overall it was okay. I ordered the buffalo mac & cheese. The portion was sizable and nicely presented in a sizzling cast iron skillet. It had some heat but not a lot of buffalo flavor. It was cheesy and had a few pieces of chicken throughout. I enjoyed the meal.“
