Pretty sure the subs were about $2 which came out of shorts pockets where tip money from the night before schlepping trays at Giovanni’s with a $40 haul in tips was a GREAT night😎 No Uber, transistor radios with MAYBE 2 stations of music! There was no instant anything other than ordering a Sabos Sub which we were ALWAYS extremely grateful and hungry for! I speak of Sabos fondly living now in Las Vegas, who wodda thunk that the 18 year old🐣 sharing a one and half bedroom across the street from the BEACH with FIVE other 🐣’s in North Hampton would end up in SoCal and then Vegas and still be dreaming about a Sabos Tuna with extra mayo and pickles!
