The daily specials are a really great value. Tried the fried eggplant sticks and they were awesome. This is a neighborhood restaurant with a large bar on one side and a family restaurant on the other side. Something for everyone.“
“Delicious food! So many good choices it was hard to decide. "Fire and Ice" with chicken, shrimp carbonara, chicken calabria were all yummy. Delicious infused vodka and some "unusual suspects" for beers. Food and drinks came quickly and food was steaming hot. Would definitely come again. “We wanted to try something new so we went to Sunbury Point. Parking is ample and we enjoyed the live music..the restaurant is bigger than it looks from the outside. We didn't wait for a table and immediately were seated. We read the reviews and went with fish and chips, haddock sandwich, steak tips and chicken parm. The food reminded us of food from a chain restaurant like the 99. Fish for both the haddock sandwich and fish and chips was over-cooked. The bulkie for the sandwich overwhelmed the fish (bread to fish ratio) but the pickles were really good.. The chicken parm was swimming in cheese and sauce. The highlight was the steak tips...and sweet potato fries were crispy and delicious.The waitstaff was attentive and helpful. I'd give them 5 stars. The vibe was nice inside. Clean and bright. I might have preferred to sit in the bar and listen to music and just have a drink.“
“Food and service are great. Kind of a divey vibe, but a clean divey vibe. It's bar/pub food. Nothing fancy but everything is delicious! The waitstaff is very friendly and accommodating. Bar patrons are down to earth and seem to spend a lot of time there. They have fun music bingo and live music some evenings.“
“I was hungry for something other than fast food at 11:30 PM. This place fit the bill and mozzarella sticks were great. They weren't the cheap nasty ones you normally find, and a generous portion of Parmesan cheese on top. I also ordered the shrimp basket which their house sauce was pretty awesome That came with french fries which were pretty good overall 4.5. I just rounded it up.! Both bartenders were attentive! Especially Jackson! he seem to be working his ass off!“
“All I can say is wow!!! We stopped for the first time today after driving past so many times, and it was absolutely delicious. We ordered the nachos, a burger and a wrap, as well as tenders and fries for our kid. We weren't expecting to discover some of the best pub fare/american food we've ever had right in our backyard. The burger was so delicious and flavorful. toppings were spot on, bread fresh and soft. And the onion rings!!! No exaggeration, some of the best onion rings I've ever tasted. The nachos were enormous and came with all the fixings, so so good. We were well taken care of, and you can see the locals stopping by for a beer and a chat. Loved everything about the Rose Garden, and we'll certainly be back, it's been a while since I've truly enjoyed the food I've been served and the service I've received in a restaurant.“
“For years I drove by this place, always curious. Finally decided to stop in for dinner. It's a very warm and cozy place and the owners are really welcoming. Bar seating only.Ordered French onion soup and the NY sirloin with mushrooms. Excellent food and excellent service. Sorry I never made it here sooner.“
