“Stopped by Lisa’s Family Pizzeria in Belmont and had a fantastic experience. The pizza was fresh, hot, and full of flavor—definitely some of the best I’ve had in the area. The crust had the perfect crunch, and the sauce-to-cheese ratio was spot on. You can tell they care about quality here.

While I was waiting for my order, a guy walked in and confidently told the staff, “You guys have the best steak and cheese pizza in Belmont.” That caught my attention, so I ordered one for the road—and wow, he wasn’t lying. The steak was tender, cheesy, and loaded with flavor, all packed into a crispy, golden crust. It’s easily a must-try if you’re a fan of steak and cheese.

The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the whole place had that classic, welcoming neighborhood pizzeria vibe. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or feeding a group, Lisa’s hits the spot.

“The outdoor seating is a big plus. It has a nice atmosphere. It is easy to miss if you are driving by. There is a very small parking lot in the back which is helpful. The staff was very friendly here, more than at other locations. There are alot of sugary baked goods to choose from plus other food choices. Overall, it is nice, quiet place to talk and enjoy a bite to eat. Enjoy!“

I had the steak frites which was really delicious, and a side of cabbage slaw which I was on the fence about. The only word I can think of to describe the texture is “viscous”. Hubby got the blue plate special which was tamales. He wasn’t blown away. But of course the deserts at Veggie Galaxy more than make up for any disappointment about dinner! “I ordered my daughters 6th birthday cake from La Casa Del Pandebono and it literally the best experience I’ve ever had with any business. Not only was the custom cake beautiful and delicious, they provided a level of exceptional customer service that I didn’t even know existed. The “Tangled” cake included a beautiful edible gold crown as it’s center piece, and it was packaged separately. Despite my best efforts to handle it carefully, I accidentally broke it the night before the birthday party. I texted the owner asking if he has recommendations for me to reassemble it (knowing it was unlikely, but I was desperate). He immediately responded and asked for my address, letting me know he’d deliver a new one when he closed the store (I live in another town). I was shocked at his generosity and beyond grateful. As an expression of gratitude, a sent him an additional tip which he politely attempted to reject (I wouldn’t allow it…haha). In return, he delivered not only the grown, but an order of birria tacos and an empanada (which I was admiring when I went to pick up the cake) - literally the best tacos I’ve ever had. I cannot emphasize how touched I was by this experience. La Casa Del Pandebono is a rare gem - baked goods that are truly a work of art, and incredible food that is only surpassed by the unbelievable customer service. I will be a customer for life.“

I had asked to substitute the fries for a salad, and while I appreciated the option, it came already dressed. I personally liked the dressing, but I usually prefer my salads without it, and would have appreciated being asked. Unfortunately, my partner didn’t like the dressing at all and ended up not eating her salad. A small thing, but it would’ve made a difference if they had checked with us first.“

“I don't write many reviews. For me to write a review a restaurant has to be either really bad and amazingly good. Sugar and spice is amazingly good Thai food! My wife says it was the best pad thai she's ever had. My son had the tamarind duck, which I sampled, and I had the kanom jean nam ngaio (see pics). Both were sooo good. Service was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!“
