“What an incredible little gem tucked away in North Smithfield. The food was impeccable, the service was top tier, the drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy.Plenty of menu options to choose from, with multiple chef specials to boot. I chose a special the day we went - Pasta Davina. Generous portions, and priced fairly. I would go again in a heart beat, and can't wait to bring family and friends to this spot in the future!Dietary restrictions: A person in our party had a shellfish allergy - they accommodated this without hesitation“

“The food was great. The servers were friendly, and professional. A bit too noisy for me but we went in Saturday so I guess that to be expected. Drink were awesome but just a tad bit pricey. Thanks for an awesome experience! Will come back again.“

“Thought the waiter was top notch, we had 14 people in our party, a few provided feedback on what they ordered. The fish tacos were underwhelming, lacked flavor as did the chicken Marcello which was very bland. The fish and chips were a big surprise, large portion of fish, rather than the typical large portion of fries! My seafood with angle hair pasta was good, but a bit too much oil, and scollops were slightly over cooked, but I would order it again.“

“My husband and I had dinner last night and it was a great experience from start to finish. Restaurant is very modern and eclectic stylistically. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Menu has something for everyone. We had the short rib ramen and a burger 10/10. Plate presentation out of this world. The attention to detail was noticeable from the straws, to the glassware, to the menus!!! Can’t wait to go back.Dietary restrictions: Menu offers a wide variety of options for all diners. Almost anything on the menu can be made GF and they offer vegetarian choices as well as options for diners who want a healthier meal.“

“Growing up I never liked Mac & Cheese until my husband and I came across mac city. Now we made a tradition that every time I get an oil change done in Franklin, it is a requirement to get a meal from Mac City.Good luck trying to take a picture of the masterpiece. Its delicious ? and nearly impossible not to devour your food within 10 minutes.“

“We recently stopped by the new, larger location of Beef Barn. The interior has expanded significantly, offering plenty of seating while maintaining the charming, rustic atmosphere and small-town feel. They continue to serve up the best roast beef and pastrami sandwiches, all at very affordable prices. The staff is friendly, and the service is fast.“

“Me and my wife moseyed our way to a new restaurant this weekend and wow was I impressed the food wasn't the spotlight but dam was the service was out of this world. There was a amazing worker that was pre bussing our tables like no other. I saw him buss a table in under 30 seconds with such precision he needs a raise. We had to ask for his name. Nick godam Mate needs a raise and our server Jess was alright.“

“My father had seen a feature on Chronicle about The Beef Barn and how they had not raised their prices in the recent years, and we just had to try it. We actually drove fairly far to get to the Bellingham location, but it was extremely worth it. The food was really high quality, and the service was incredibly quick. I think they could easily charge $6-7 for each of these sandwiches and we'd still think it was a great deal, but the fact that they haven't raised their prices is all the more reason to keep coming back. Turkey Burger ($4.75) - I didn't actually order this, but both my mother and my partner got it and I ended up having a few bites. The actual thickness of the patty was quite substantial, and my mother actually had trouble finishing her portion because it was so large. The patty was juicy and had nice grill marks on it that tasted of being on the barbecue, and it was an extremely well made burger. Next time I stop by , I'm definitely making this - the meat was really well seasoned and the ratio of meat to veggies to bun was spot on! Fish Sandwich ($4.50) - This was probably the most average of the 3 sandwiches, but for $4.50, it was still an excellent piece of fish with some nice veggies on a bun. The fish itself was a chunk of fish (not ground up like fish sticks), and it was nice and crispy. It was also large enough to cover the whole bun so can't complain here. Roast Beef ($4.75) - This was by far the highlight of the evening - the roast beef sandwich is absolutely to die for. The meat was so incredibly beefy - it tasted like actual beef instead of processed lunch meat, and it was so thin and soft that you didn't even have to chew it very much. Honestly, I think I would be able to eat this with just my gums. The meat was melt in your mouth delicious and tender, and the 3 oz. feels like enough to fill the whole sandwich, which was something we were worried about at first. I truly can't believe how delicious the meat was, and the roll was nice and fluffy as well. I would get this every day if I lived closer, and the price can't be beat. All in all, this is a stunning 5/5 stars. All of the sandwiches were great, and the price is amazing. We were able to feed 4 people for just around $30 and all of us were stuffed at the end of the meal. And not only that, the ingredients are incredibly fresh and flavorful. This is a gem of a find - definitely stop by if you are in the area (and make the trip if you are not!)“

“The fries are greasy but good, the salad is mostly just iceberg lettuce with too much Italian dressing. I didn't eat the chicken, pasta or bread so I didn't rate those. We were in the carriage room which is pretty much long tables in a painted barn. Nice but plain.Vegetarian options: The bread has milk in it and the pasta sauce is made with chicken fat. Salad and French fries are ok. I wouldn't have chosen this restaurant but it was a family event“

“Returned to this gem, this time with my grandson and his hearty teenage appetite. We sat in a casual dining room with booths and lovely decor. One of things I love about this place is the variety of dining settings. The lounge is cozy, the casual dining room perfect for families. But there's also a more formal dining room, complete with white tablecloths. We were greeted and seated immediately this time. Our waitress was amazingly friendly and attentive. The kid's Sprite was more like seltzer and she replaced it Lickety-split, with a smile, and returned a moment later to ensure he was satisfied. We ordered an appetizer of Buffalo Chicken Tenders, requesting both ranch and blue cheese. It was a large order that we didn't finish, despite ravenous appetites. Our mail dishes arrived in a timely fashion, despite the restaurant filling up quickly. I had the Fish & Chips while my grandson ordered the Pilgrim Dinner. We were both very pleased and the bottomless pit took half of his home, declining dessert. This diner is very particular about her cake slaw and rarely enjoys it. I must say that I nearly licked the container clean. Be more thing - the bill didn't break the bank. I enjoyed a cocktail, we shared an app and had two delicious, generous meals for $57 - Hard to beat these days!“

“I visited here for the first time while visiting my great aunt. She brought me here, saying that this is one of her favorite restaurants in the area. She's been coming for over 10 years! I can definitely see why she's such a loyal customer. To start, we shared a bowl of their Seafood Chowder. I had to try it after seeing that it had won awards in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2016. It was hands down the best chowder I've ever had. The broth was incredibly creamy, but not too heavy, with a perfect balance of savory flavors. For my main course, I ordered the Prime Rib Wrap. The prime rib was piled high, juicy, and had just the right amount of spice. It was paired with melted Swiss cheese, peppercorn mayo all wrapped in a warm, crispy tortilla dusted with Cajun seasoning. The combination of textures and flavors was absolutely delicious. My great aunt opted for her usual, the Baked Scrod, and as always, she raved about it. It's clear that the quality and consistency of the food here keeps her coming back. The service was also excellent. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. She stopped by frequently and made sure that we were happy with our meals.I can't wait to visit again!Parking: If the parking lot next to the restaurant is full, check out the lot across the street.“

“The food is good, steak and cheese sandwich is my go to it's delicious! I come here for trivia ,which is fun, but lately you get excited to compete and win, only to discover there are no prizes, or it's beads/koozies they got for free from beer vendors. Every other restaurant trivia gives gift cards, even just $10, to keep you coming back. As a result, my whole team is adamant about finding a new place to go instead, which is sad bc the food here was good??♀️ !“

“Small tavern, with friendly staff and really good eats! Seriously, the chicken wings, bone in, not frozen, crispy, not greasy and tender, juicy, bites! Various sauce combinations, I dipped in the honey, mustard! Yum! Mushroom, Swiss burger, cooked perfectly as requested medium rare! Now, I need to know... how the heck did you get those fries crispy outside, potato fluffy inside and not greasy! Damn good! Simple bar setup, TV's to watch sports and movies. Music box, darts and tables for a dining experience. Totally recommend to check it out! I'm working my way through their menu and have a feeling it won't disappoint!“

The broccoli Cheddar soup was tasty and a good start to lunch. The taco salad was basic but good. The taco shell was crispy and not oily- awesome. I did add some ranch so it was not dry- highly recommend. Overall a good lunch and suggest you give it a visit.“

“Danny's is a Woonsocet Staple, and the quality of the product has remained the same since its opening. Anyone who went to Woonsocket High School in the early mid 2000s knows this was the spot to go to cause it was good and not expensive. They have kept that model alive all these years. The staff is friendly and the owner does all the cooking. I personally think they have the best homefries in the state. Gotta love Dannys“

“My recent first visit to lunch at Mendon Street Kitchen in downtown Uxbridge, Massachusetts was a delightful experience. We took our two grandchildren. The outside dining area has great atmosphere with umbrella tables and fun decorations that appeal to adults and children. Our grandchildren loved the grilled cheese with bacon sandwich. My lobster roll was delicious, and my wife enjoyed her BLT sandwich. I learned that Mendon Street Kitchen is a proud sponser of "First Night," a huge Christmas parade in downtown Uxbridge each December. Mendon Street Kitchen is a wonderful boutique eatery. “I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Last Resort in Smithfield, RI, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. This hidden gem offers a great escape, complete with a refreshing pool and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The pool area was a definite highlight. The water was pristine, and the entire space was well-maintained, creating the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoyment. Taking a dip in the pool was incredibly refreshing, and the friendly vibes around the area added to the overall positive experience. Now, let's talk about the food. The buffalo chicken pizza was an absolute treat. The combination of flavors was on point, with a satisfying kick of spice and a perfect balance of toppings. It's safe to say that the pizza not only satisfied my hunger but also added to the overall enjoyment of my visit. When it comes to the entry fee of $20, it's worth considering your plans for the day. While it may seem a bit steep, I found that it makes more sense if you're planning to spend a significant amount of time in the pool. If you're looking forward to soaking up the sun and enjoying the cool waters, the fee is well justified. However, if you're mainly there for the atmosphere and good company, it might be a bit on the higher side. All in all, the Last Resort is a wonderful spot to spend quality time with friends and family. If you're looking to make the most of the pool and have a blast in the water, the $20 fee becomes much more reasonable. From the inviting pool to the delicious food, it's an experience that offers a perfect blend of relaxation and enjoyment.“

“I have to tell you, all the food is awesome. My family and I order from here often. I play in a hockey league twice a week and alot of the league members look forward to going to the Western afterwards, wether we win or lose. The restaurant and bar in great to unwind with all the league players, have a couple drinks and eat some pizza and and wings. All the food is fantastic but hockey night is pizza and wings, LOL. Get the pepperoni well done, I love it, this is not fast food pizza, one pizza can feed a family of 3 to 4, just so you know. It gets busy some times on the "hockey" nights when we are there but the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate everyone, sometimes the server is alone in the bar by herself, tending to the tables and the bar because the kitchen staff is overwhelmed from all the ordering, in the restaurant and take out yet they all make everyone feel welcome. Particularly Jessica, who works there almost every time we are there. Thank you to the staff and owners for making our nights even more enjoyable. Steve.“

“A lovely place for lunch or dinner, beautifully decorated with a smooth, relaxed vibe. The staff were attentive and welcoming and the food was amazing! I ordered the tuna tartare and it was amazing.
