“I have been a Chef for over 40 years and started out making pizza in 1974. I have had many people tell me about pizza in Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts. It is amazing how many people suggest their neighborhood pizza place. But being a long time chef I have a very high bar for quality. After tasting this pizza, I find it impossible for anyone to write a negative review. I found a very professional and friendly owner with an amazing recipe. Its really that simple. There are not enough words to express how lovely the woman at the counter and her husband are! They are so accommodating, and sweet. “I ordered 2 stuffed shells, 1 with eggplant and 1 with chicken and an order of potato skins. The skins were great. Better than a couple restaurants that I tried in the area. The stuffed shells were also delicious although I didn't get chicken, I got meatballs instead of what I ordered, but that doesn't matter, it was really good! Definitely a place worth ordering from!“

I believe the wonderful ladies name was Maria who offered to drive the pizza to my house to make up for not taking a name on the order. My interaction with the staff at famous Pizza changed my day. “Moved to Bellingham 2 years ago. I have tried all the pizza places in town and can say that Blackhawk pizza is the best one. In addition to pizza I have tried many different subs, calzones, salads and dinners and have been very happy with them all. Our go to order is half meatball/cheese pizza with the steak tip salad. Highly recommend!“

“Outstanding! We picked up food to go while we were back in Franklin attending to our property.
The pizza is almost like a hybrid of NY & Chicago styles. A little deeper crust, but still light and crunchy. So no inedible hard, cardboard crust and no overly thick, mushy crust. We've never had anything like that & it was delightful!
Smooth evenly melted cheese & fresh toppings both of which came right to the edge of the crust put this pizza in a league of it's own. Even reheated it tasted amazing.
Now I love a good steak salad but am always apprehensive ordering it and they did it right! The lettuce was fresh and crispy and only the good parts of the perfectly green lettuce were used. The steak is where many mess up on & this place cooked the steak PERFECTLY. There were numerous tender, we'll seasoned pieces without any gross fatty surprises. Light feta, grape tomatoes, black olives, a couple cucumber slices, pepperoncinii & done. Freshness allows the ingredients to speak for themselves & singing loudly. Just superb! The only thing I could even think to add is a little crispy topper (I would suggest a crispy French fried onions). Also this said was shared by two adults before pizza & there was plenty.
FANTASTIC all around & was made quickly. We'll absolutely be back when we return to town again!“

“I got to be honest, it's been years since I've ordered from here. I never had a great experience, The food that was delivered to my house was always incorrect, and the pizza just simply wasn't great.

I'm reading this review because this establishment recognized what needed to be fixed and fixed it.
Most of the reviews you're seeing are the reviews from how Aegean pizza was run before.

One night recently I rolled the dice and ordered from Aegean again assuming my boys and I would be receiving once again some less than mediocre pizza.
To my surprise, All three of my boys including myself we're immediately impressed with how different the pizza was and tasted. The Pizza was gone almost immediately!

The following week my boys had asked If they could have the pizza we had ordered the week before.

Again, The pizza was great. Cooked perfectly both times, extra cheesy, The pizza even seemed bigger than it used to be. We have been ordering ever since.

Hopefully after reading this review The people who have stopped going here should at least give these guys a second chance.

I normally like to visit 3 times before placing a review. Today, I will start based on 2 visits. I will continue to explain below....

After spending so long in New York, I realized I've become a little pizza snobby. But, I always try to be fair and not just compare.

Both visits had consistent results. Pizza cooked to perfection. It's not dry and not too greasy. It's a greek style shallow pan pizza from this location. Perfect amount of cheese browned properly and cut, so it was easy to serve. Took the photo fresh out to the car. :)

I have also had their french fries, greek salad, and baklava. They made sure all the food was fresh and delicious. Thank you again.

Ps it was wonderful to arrive in this small town pizza shop and be called by first name on our second visit. Well done.

“Located in the shopping center near Stop and Shop. Not many nearby parking spaces, but parking is not hard to find considering its next to Stop and Shop's huge parking lot. Staff is not bad, even when it's busy. I have never had issues with this place, but feel bad for those who have. Mistakes happen, its how the restaurant deals with those mistakes that really matter. Massachusetts has a lot of pizza places and a lot of them are pretty average, but the pizza here is pretty good. Don't order smaller than a large if you don't want thin crust. The wings here are good too, not super soggy like Domino's. They used to have Nuclear hot wings and fried pickles that were to die for. Maybe they'll bring it back. I recommend this place to others. Also, place your order ahead if able.“
