“I have been a Chef for over 40 years and started out making pizza in 1974. I have had many people tell me about pizza in Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts. It is amazing how many people suggest their neighborhood pizza place. But being a long time chef I have a very high bar for quality. After tasting this pizza, I find it impossible for anyone to write a negative review. I found a very professional and friendly owner with an amazing recipe. Its really that simple. “First time trying Palace Pizza. Ordered 2 pizzas. At pickup, he handed me 3. He said he didn’t like how one came out, so he gave us the extra at no cost. That’s never happened in my 54 years. The one pizza he wasn’t happy with had a couple bubbles but still tasted excellent.“

I normally like to visit 3 times before placing a review. Today, I will start based on 2 visits. I will continue to explain below....

After spending so long in New York, I realized I've become a little pizza snobby. But, I always try to be fair and not just compare.

Both visits had consistent results. Pizza cooked to perfection. It's not dry and not too greasy. It's a greek style shallow pan pizza from this location. Perfect amount of cheese browned properly and cut, so it was easy to serve. Took the photo fresh out to the car. :)

I have also had their french fries, greek salad, and baklava. They made sure all the food was fresh and delicious. Thank you again.

Ps it was wonderful to arrive in this small town pizza shop and be called by first name on our second visit. Well done.

“Milford - First time in, did not love what I ordered and not only was it taken off our bill, but the manager gave us a $25 gift card to come back…that’s excellent customer service which impressed us.
