“We had ordered through DoorDash and it was never picked up. Booooo DoorDash. The restaurant called me to let me know the food was there and the Dasher was not. Thankfully my husband was able to go get it. I couldn’t believe it when a few minutes later, one of the people who works there (Sedona) called me back to say she would drop it off if I couldn’t get it! Talk about above and beyond. The food was fantastic. I had the limoncello with chicken. Sooooooo good. Crispy chicken cutlet, but moist and a delicious beurre blanc. My husband got the bistec and loved it as well. We had never tried this place before but will now be frequent flyers (just not with DoorDash!).“

“Just picked up an order at Linguine's and realized that, despite having dined here a lot over the past 20+ yrs, I have never left a review. When I came today, I discovered they are having a tough day today with some mechanical difficulties, which presents a huge problem the day before Christmas eve😪 so I thought today is a good day to show them some love and appreciation for decades of excellent food and service⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sending the owners and staff wishes for a Merry Christmas and safe and happy new year. 🎄🎅 Hoping todays challenges are corrected quickly💖🙏“

“The panini here are SO good! It is clear that the on-site owners really care about quality ingredients and their customers. There are various levels of Parma ham depending on your palate and budget. The sandwiches are generous and can be shared. It is a tiny shop with several standing tables, so this is not a place to relax while dining. The brownies are to die for and often sell out, so get there early & make sure to get a latte. There is a nice selection of Italian products for purchase.“

“😀I visited Il Forno for the first time last night with a group of friends who are regulars, and I can absolutely see why they keep coming back. One of the highlights of the evening was meeting the owner, Mike. He has a genuinely outgoing personality and took the time to chat with me about what I was in the mood for. When I mentioned I was leaning toward beef, he recommended the Beef Sirloin Marsala with Spinach Ravioli — and I’m very glad I took his advice. The dish was outstanding. The sirloin was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, and the Marsala sauce was easily one of the best I’ve had (other than my own, of course). The spinach ravioli paired beautifully with the meal and rounded everything out nicely. Beyond the food, the service was excellent and attentive without being overbearing, and the drinks were crafted just right. Overall, it was a fantastic first experience, and I would absolutely recommend Il Forno — especially the Beef Sirloin Marsala.“

“Reserved the backroom for our wedding celebrations on Friday night. The wait staff could not have been more accommodating! They were wonderful! The food was outstanding with many in my family commenting how fabulous it was. The Baked Stuffed Eggplant is my favorite....flavorful taste and so yummy! Highly recommend for a fabulous Italian food at affordable prices with the best wait staff! Thank you for making our wedding celebration magical!“

“Just an update...I want to be clear that I love this place, but wanted to update my comment from a few months ago...wing dings are not buffalo wings. I ordered bone in buffalo wings and got wing dings. I detest wing dings. Picture on website shows buffalo wings.
My previous comment still stands..I used to go here when the previous owners ran it. Decided to try it under the new owners and was very impressed! Food was really good and the owner was super nice! I'll be back!!“

“Just came from El Forno. Lunenburg had a pepperoni and pepper pizza. It was by far the best pizza I have ever had since the old days at the European in the northend. Great job Michael and crew always.“

“Great service and communication throughout the wait period. The staff works very well together, much like a well oiled machine. It's a very busy restaurant, but the food is excellent and everyone is friendly and courteous. We are new to the area and Amici's has quickly become our go to favorite. As an aside, the free valet parking takes the stress out of your visit. Reservations are generally warranted. We highly recommend you try this delightful experience!“

“Everything they have here is great. But I usually get the grilled chicken either the wrap or the sub. The grilled chicken is great. Recommend to go here. Great sizes on there wraps and sub rolls. Keep it up. This place will always have my business. Very nice people. Great on there services.“

“Been coming for 30+ years. Never had a bad meal but the chicken piccata is so good I have never ordered anything else for years. I don’t even order it as a dish at any other restaurant.“

“The BBQ sampler and Brisket plate were both excellent. It took a little while for the food to be served, but very much worth the wait. Both the sampler and the brisket plate offered generous portions, prepared perfectly using quality cuts of meat, with very good rubs and BBQ sauce. The included sides were also very nicely flavored and freshly made. A corn bread muffin accompanied each meal. Our server was attentive, friendly and unrushed while at our table. This was our second visit to Slater's and again we were very pleased with everything.“
