We were curious to check out 1928, having known it as the home of Persian restaurant, Lala Rokh, for more than 20 years. The decor has an “upscale casual” vibe and the food is mostly casual fare, nothing overly complicated. We started with the burrata, something you can find in many places and nothing extraordinary. The lobster tortellini and rigatoni bolognese were, likewise, unremarkable. The scallop truffle risotto was a bit lumpy, underseasoned and lacking truffle...

Great atmosphere and service. Good variety of specialty cocktails, including some seasonal choices.

The food was delicious- steak was a perfect medium rare and the cream brûlée had just the right amount of sweetness.

Went here for my sister birthday, and had a great time. There was a small accident that could have set a bad vibe on the night yet they rectified and made the night amazing. Great staff, service, and food! 5/5 would recommend!
