Fantastic and friendly service! The food was all great and very reasonably priced. We were in town on vacation and, since our hotel was nearby, we ate there multiple times.
I tried this place on a whim when heading to my train at North Station and was so happy I did. The menu has something for everyone, the service was extremely kind, and the breakfast sandwich I got tasted great. Freshly made, good quality ingredients (including fresh avocado!) and they even rushed my order because I was a dummy and didn't realize I was running late for my train even when I was ok abandoning my food. Based on the reviews, Bean & Leaf Cafe is a spectacular and charming place with a small town vibe. The staff is awesome, friendly, and accommodating, offering plastic cups without asking. The food is delicious, with meals like the grilled cheeses for the little girls perfectly golden brown, an amazing avocado, bacon, egg, and cheese on wheat sourdough, a tasty hummus & falafel wrap, a really good grilled Italian sub, an excellent and hearty omelet, a great BLT, and great breakfast sandwiches. The food is very reasonably priced and affordable, especially for Boston, with shockingly low prices. It is a perfect lunch spot that is consistently clean and kind, with a huge menu and tons of seating.
