BON! Specialty Coffee is a small and cozy cafe with a great little shop atmosphere. The seating is very limited, but it is cute and decorated for the season. The staff is super friendly and service is swift.
The coffee receives exceptional praise. The latte is simply phenomenal and hands down the best latte, with a beautiful ratio and salted maple cream. The pistachio latte is the best ever, not too sweet and with a toasted flavor. The iced banana latte is the best one ever, with a perfect balance, and the vanilla latte and cardamom are also very good. It is a favorite coffee shop and considered the best in Boston.
For food, the stuffed pistachio croissant is delicious, crunchy on the outside with sweet pistachio cream inside. The regular croissant is also delicious when heated.
Reviews on the matcha are mixed. One customer found the banana matcha pleasantly surprising with a subtle sweetness, while others felt the matcha latte was really watered down compared to other places, a little too sweet, or quite pricey. Despite this, many plan to return.
