Corner Cafe Bakery Reviews
Amazing as always!! Staff and service wonderful.
owner/manager very short and rude. Apparently when you place an online order it goes in under your last name even though your first name is on the order. However, the staff who knows this asks for your name and they cannot find the order in the 3 that are waiting because it's under your last name. and you are giving them your first name. when they do discover the mistake, after submitting the entire order again in person, they have the nerve to tell me I should have given them...read full review

Corner Cafe Bakery is a bright and clean spot with friendly staff, despite being busy. This Asian-inspired bakery offers a variety of sweet treats, including the popular Molten Egg Yolk Bun, Mango Lychee Pudding, and Japanese-style cheesecake. Customers enjoy a good selection of Chinese sweets, Portuguese cakes, and pastries like puff pastry almond cookies and green tea products. The Portuguese egg tart is well-liked for its buttery, flaky crust and delicious flavor, though it is quite jiggly and best eaten with a spoon. The bakery also features a variety of moon cakes, buns, and scallion bread. Pork steamed buns are large, tasty, and affordable, making them a favorite for many. The desserts are visually appealing and taste good, with favorites including the mango mousse cake and tarts. Customers can take mini moon cakes as souvenirs and appreciate the good prices, which are still affordable despite inflation. The bakery offers delivery and accepts a $10 credit minimum, making it a convenient choice for those wanting a quick, sweet treat or some snacks to share. The pastries are delicious and plentiful, with a variety of breads and small dessert cakes. The Pineapple bun is good, and there are options like roll cakes and hot dog bao. Overall, this spot is recommended for a sweet treat when in Chinatown.
