a way to a person''s heart is feed them and show them that they matter. Another is to help provide them with necessities like clothing and personal care products.another is to indulge them in conversation, sharing what may help bring and invoke passion and even provide experiences from ones experience to help direct a path which can create and ultimately liberate ones mind from their self asteem insecurities sort of speak is another.as I have the pleasure to share my appreciation this day and have been a handful ( 5 ) times to date to experience what the haley house house has done for me by ( providing a outstanding meal each time and had been offered twice to get garments and care products ) which was very useful for at time of my need... and intitally stepping inside the place a feeling of warmness and music that invirgorates my soul, with people sharing the space being cordial talking with one another it brings tears to my eyes every time once bitten into the wonderful food they take time to prepare.thank you haley house for providing an essential service to what the world desperately needs.

Well for beginners I had stayed at a shelter in the greater Boston area for three and a half years because of a transition in my own personal life per se. However I had to navigate myself to a place that was safe kind and considerate as well as a decent breakfast in the morning which made my day with the amount of respect I received at the Haley house. Then I was invited to become a lived in community member and it was a life-changing experience in the greatest of all ways. Becoming responsible and more organized as an individual with a well thought out concept of giving to the unfortunate population in the Boston area. I will say that it is one of the best things that happened to me through my journey of life by being able to give back and be around a positive people who truly cared about me.Truthfully speaking when I reflect all my purpose and all of our purpose loving experience was the ultimate statement when I was invited into the living community of the Haley House.

Back in the late 90's when I ended up homeless it was never more than a few weeks and I was told about this place and it was better than regular breakfast restaurants.Thank you Haley House 1995-2008 staff and volunteers.

Sucked. Coffee ok, but food nothing, had to go-to star market -n- shoplift to eat. Nimby ruined this place. Rich south end location bad for homeless.
