This place is my preferred one. I visit many restaurants but here I go the most. The team is very chummy and the cooking they cook is so yummy. I never decline to have a good dinner in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.

I arrive at this special place many times because I like the good air that is outline this place. The personel is highly welcoming and qualified. The service is absolutely fast. Needless to say, the food they prepare is first-rate. I have been there more than once and I was always delighted. The expense is decent. I suggest this place to all my friends.

Nice place to meet and catch up with family. I had a cousin come into town and she asked me to go back here. Bring your hunger - portions are large.

This is one-star as a warning that Kashmir is closed as of August 8th. I placed an order for pickup online and everything seemed to go through fine but when I arrived at the restaurant it was closed, all the windows had paper taped up, and no one answered the phone. Will need to make sure my credit card isn't charged for this. Buyer Beware!

Does anyone know what is going on here lately? They have been "temporarily closed" for almost a month now (not Covid related, as they were doing takeout before). I've reached out several times with no answer on any domain. I thought they were doing kitchen reno but I walked by yesterday and all the shades were drawn down and flies were stuck between the shade and window- very gross and looked unoccupied for some time now. I typically love this food here!

This is the best Indian food in the Boston area, hands down. Right now they're only doing takeout (and Indian food is the best food for takeout/travel in my opinion, I've been coming weekly for takeout during the COVID-19 shutdown) but I've also eaten here many times back before the shutdown and have no complaints about this restaurant. I recommend it to anyone who likes Indian food - by the way if you like it spicy the "hot" is VERY spicy and delicious! They are also super fast and very friendly.

I meet with friends this restaurant quite a bit! This is the best place to dine. I go to this spot routinely. The food is very tasty, the crew is welcoming and the charge is decent. I like going in this spot to have a decent supper.

Excellent food, friendly employees, consistently good mood. They charge convenient pricing and the food quality is great. Kudos.

*Disclaimer: This is strictly a review on food ordered for takeout.* Ordered takeout from this place for the first time and look forward to ordering more food from here! The chicken tikka masala is amazing, so that's a must. You have to get the garlic naan. You won't regret it! The rice was pretty good as well. Food was ready on time for the pick up time. The food was very good! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's kind of pricey for Indian food. I guess it's to be expected for a spot on Newbury Street. I look forward to trying more items on the menu. That garlic naan is calling my name.

Our local Indian spot. Great, fresh food. Really nice staff. We will certainly keep coming back!

Had I known about the sewage-like putrid odour emitting through this restaurant and out the entrance (yes it's that potent), I would not have taken any chance on eating from here. I had placed a scheduled pick-up order and when I arrived I had to wait for approximately seven minutes while the host was handling call in orders /phone business. Meanwhile I was standing at the door with another guest in front of me who was fortunate to have a face mask on. Regret filled my head as I waited patiently to be acknowledged and serviced. The food was going to be bad omg. Plot twist: It was actually delicious and some of best Indian cuisine I've had in Boston. I couldn't shake the thought of it coming out of that doo doo scented restaurant though as I ate every bite *shivers*

Ordered salmon and chicken tikka masala for delivery from this restaurant. The food was terrible- both the chicken and salmon were overcooked to the point of being inedible. The salmon was also really salty. Both of the dishes also didn't come with any sides- not even rice. Considering how expensive it is, I was surprised it didn't even come with rice.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Boston. The taste is reasonably authentic - Not the same - But almost like the real thing - Yet, the spice level is toned to a level where a non-Indian tongue can carry it. The decor and the the whole is well set up. It makes for a nice, posh experience. This is definitely one of the more expensive Indian restaurants. However, this isn't without reason or merit. Quality and taste surpass most other offerings. Look, if you heard about it and Googled your way to here - Might as well pay the couple extra bucks and go for it. You won't be sorry!

We came here this past weekend during my Boston trip. It is right on the corner of Newbury and Gloucestor Street. You walk down a couple of steps from the street to get to the front door. Very muted and nice ambiance. The restaurant was not very busy because of the Coronovirus fears but there were a few tables occupied. The service was fast and our server was friendly. We are vegetarians and ordered the Mutter Paneer and Malai Kofta with Pashawary Naaan and Garlic Naan. The curries were very flavorful but the Mutter Paneer was more of Mutter curry with a very few paneer pieces. They could be a little more liberal with paneer The Pashawary Naaan was awesome but note that it is more of a "dessert" naan with a succulent sweetness. Overall, a great experience.
