Visit Sunday. We went to La Pizza and Pasta. Food was only ok. Clear step down from New York. We ordered bolognese and carbonara and the sauce was insufficient, carbonara was a tad too salty. Service was spotty.
La Piazza at Eataly is a great spot you can just grab a drink and some light bites or more - no reservation needed! We loved stopping by for a glass of wine and some olives on a Saturday afternoon. Lovely friendly service!
Way overpriced, very small portions. Bread was $5 (not disclosed when it was offered to us). Ended up paying $38 including tip for half the bread and a small plate of very salty ravioli without a drink. The pasta itself was good and tasted fresh but nowhere near worth it.
Vibes aren't great, felt a little like a cafeteria, loud and tables packed together but a nice big skylight. Service was okay, friendly enough but not attentive. They seemed understaffed.
