The Beacon Reviews
Restaurant was quite nice and had amazing views of the city from your table. Service was friendly and attentive. All the items we had were delicious and seemed really fresh. Meal was included as part of the package we bought to go up to View Boston to see the city from the top of the Pru, definitely worth the cost of the package.
we enjoyed the restaurant after touring the terrace above and it was such a pleasant experience. we had espresso martinis, they offer a dark, creamy, and hazelnut. they were delicious! for an appetizer we had the bruschetta flatbread and i think it was a great portion. i ordered the burrata pasta and added chicken, so good! i would dine here again and try some other food items 😊
We just popped in on a whim for something sweet for my birthday, with our small children. Staff was very kind and helpful even though it was right before closing, we ordered drinks and a dessert, and they gave me the dessert for free for my birthday!
It was a quick trip but everyone enjoyed the visit!

The Beacon is a renowned restaurant located at the top of the Prudential Tower, offering stunning panoramic views of the greater Boston area. It has a celebratory atmosphere, especially on weekends, making it a great place for special occasions. The service is generally very good, with professional and friendly staff.
The menu features a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options such as salad and avocado bread. The lobster roll has been praised as the best meal, while the clam chowder and short ribs have received mixed reviews. The cocktails have been described as good but often too sweet. Prices are on the higher end, with a full meal costing around $80 per person, plus $25 for access to the restaurant floor.
The Beacon's main attraction is its breathtaking views and celebratory atmosphere. The restaurant can be accessed through a package ticket that includes pre-set meals or through a-la-carte ordering with separate observation deck tickets. Overall, The Beacon is recommended for special occasions, especially for brunch, where some guests have enjoyed exceptional service and views.
