The staff is accommodating and pleasant, even when faced with unexpected changes or early arrivals. The restaurant provides a great view from the third-floor outdoor bar, creating a fantastic atmosphere for cocktails before dinner. Customers enjoy enormous and fresh shrimp cocktail appetizers, and the clam chowder remains a champion dish. Dinners such as baked haddock, crabmeat sandwich, crabcake and shrimp, and braised pork bolognese are highly praised, with some dishes described as the best ever. The service is generally super, with attentive staff who never rush diners and replenish waters promptly. However, experiences can vary; some customers have faced less attentive waitstaff or disappointing meals, such as overcooked fish and chips or soggy fried clams.
