In general, the food is only good when it's freshly made, including fried dishes. I have ordered food a few times when visiting, and I can tell that my chicken was fried — the outer skin was burnt. Additionally, if you are over 30, you may feel a bit left out, as their main target is young professionals — a not-so-inclusive space. Overall, you can tell that the Latino employees work extremely hard to ensure the food comes out quickly-sometimes we forget who works behind...
Loco Taqueria was a nice place for dinner though it wasn't perfect for our family. The food was good, but the servings were small. Service was slow and it was quite loud. I'm more likely to recommend this to a couple or a group of friends as a good place to go to get drinks after work or on the weekend.
Definitely a place for drinks but not food. Apps werr good, but the tuna poke could have use much more lime or something to brighten it up. My chicken fajitas tasted strongly of soy sauce which I’m guessing they used for the onions but didn’t really give a Mexican flavor and were way too salty. Churros we got for dessert were raw in the inside. Also beware if you order a soft drink. The DD in our group was ordering Diet Coke and got charged for every refill.
