Great seafood restaurant located next historic Faneuil Hall and near the Old State House site of the Boston Massacre. Love the model of the USS Constitution and the other historical photos and artwork. Delicious New England clam chowder and lobster ravioli

Don’t order the New England lobster roll, I don’t think my cat would eat it. Why would you grind up lobster into almost a paste and serve it as a lobster roll unless there was a defect in the lobster. The calamari and buttermilk fried oysters were outstanding. I was in Boston for a business event, and I stopped into McCormick & Schmick's with a few colleagues of mine for lunch. There is a good selection of oysters to choose from, and they are all great. I really came in for a nice piece of swordfish, and it was cooked perfectly. So many times I will go to a restaurant and order Swordfish, and it is overdone and rubbery.
