No Relation is a restaurant in Boston that offers an intimate and memorable dining experience, especially for sushi lovers. The quality of the fish is excellent, and the skill of the chefs is evident in the delicious and thoughtfully prepared dishes. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely excited about their work, creating a friendly atmosphere. The Japanese rice is cooked to perfection, and the portion sizes are just right. The restaurant is known for its omakase, which can be customized to suit preferences, including omitting certain ingredients like uni with advance notice. Guests can also enhance their courses with options like caviar and black truffle, and many enjoy pairing their meals with drinks or extra courses. Located inside Shore Leave, a bar with excellent waitstaff and tasty bites, the overall experience is elevated. Although slightly pricier, the value for money is impressive, especially considering the quality and personalization of the meal. The ambiance is quiet and refined, making it ideal for celebrations like anniversaries and birthdays. The space feels small and intimate, with dishes coming out at a good pace, and the food is fresh and beautifully presented. Service is attentive, with chefs checking in to see if more nigiris are needed and asking for feedback. Many guests find the omakase to be a great value, with the ice cream at the end a delightful finishing touch. The energy in the room adds to what makes this place special; it is intimate and cozy yet elevated and relaxed. Nothing feels rushed or forced, allowing for a memorable experience. Overall, No Relation is highly recommended for those seeking a top-quality sushi experience in Boston, and many guests look forward to returning.
