Select Oyster Bar is one of our favorite Back Bay restaurants. My husband loves their Arctic Char and I love their mussels (among other dishes like Beet Salad and Anchovy Toast). We shared the Octopus that was outstanding. Their wine list is extensive and they have excellent wines by the glass. Alejandro and Eliza were our servers and never missed a bit in spite of it being crowded. It is always a pleasure to have dinner at Select Oyster Bar. We will be back next time we are in...
Food was delicious as usual. Only two points: it was very hot. I was sweating as was one of our guests. We did ask for the temperature to be turned down, which took a little time but finally worked. Secondly, our table was right at the top of the stairs so I felt as if we were constantly in the flow of traffic with people bumping into my chair all night,
The food and service was great. The oysters taste very good. Other food was also very tasty. The environment is good with smaller size groups, larger groups may not hear everyone clearly. Wish there were deserts!
