Sj's Restaurant offers a fantastic and incredible dining experience with wonderful, chill, and elegant ambiance and a beautiful, cool atmosphere. The service is exceptional, outstanding, attentive, and top tier, with friendly and supportive staff. The menu, while notably short, focuses on a core selection of dishes executed with consistent, high quality. Food is delicious, terrific, and satisfying. Standout dishes include the sweet onion tarte tatin, described as perfect and humble, and the butternut squash and celeriac agnolotti pasta, a somewhat exceptional and decent plate. The Wagyu steaks are delicious, the burger is possibly the best in Boston, and the half-chicken is highly recommended. The bolognese and cold buckwheat noodles are also fantastic, while the matzo ball soup is delicious and not too salty. Salads are fresh, light, and flavorful. The bar is stunning and cocktails are very good and strong, with specific praise for the Skyeline, Pompelmo Fizz, Manhattan, and SJ's Espresso Martini.
