I kicked off my Friday by going to Tenderoni's at High Street Place for pizza. The pizzas are a cross between Detroit and Sicilian-style pizza. They are thick, square, cheezy, and crispy on the sides because of the extra cheese baked around the square of the pizza. The cheezy border is the one characteristic of the pizza I appreciated the most because I love eating the corners of brownies and lasagna. I was truly excited to find a place with deep dish pizza in Boston (a rare find); but I'm not sure how I feel about the pizza. I tried a slice of pepperoni pizza- which they reheat in the oven for you. I felt the crust was dried out and SO crispy it was almost burnt. I liked the fluffy dough of the pizza, and the crispy pepperonis.
