The Cafe on New Chardon Reviews
Breakfast near government center. They have a typical breakfast menu, diner fare. Hot coffee and tea, iced coffee and tea. A cooler chips and lunch. Seems like they got a lot for you here and it's definitely worth checking out.
They have a seating area inside as well as on the sidewalk. I got this place is pretty popular for local businesses. And if you're looking for breakfast in the area give it a shot.
Good food, nice lady at the checkout
5/5 experience, very good food with large portions especially for how much you pay! My partner and I had a Cheeseburger, Cheese Stake, seasoned fries, and a root beer and even after our tip the total was under $35! During out visit we saw all walks of life come in, from law enforcement to businessmen, and even a Judge which shows that its a good local staple! Will 100% come again if we are ever in the area.

The Cafe on New Chardon, located in Boston's Government Center district, is a popular spot known for its big portions at affordable prices. A traditional eatery different from chain cafes, they serve breakfast all day and offer a variety of food options. The staff is friendly and accommodating, although sometimes they may forget an item from your meal. Despite being busy during lunch hours, the quick service makes the wait worth it.
The cafe is described as a very unassuming, casual place with surprisingly good food. Customers have praised the chicken pesto wrap, bacon and cheese omelette, and the home style fries, which were described as possibly some of the best the customers have ever had. The food is said to be affordable, hearty, and perfect for a slow morning. Overall, the cafe is considered a hidden gem with great food, nice people, and good prices.
