Young Kong is an American-Chinese takeout restaurant in Massachusetts that has garnered mixed reviews. According to one customer, the restaurant offers exceptional value and quality, with generous lunch specials featuring dishes like Pork Fried Rice, Sesame Chicken, and Crab Rangoons for under $10. The Pork Fried Rice is described as having large chunks of pork and a strong, flavorful taste, while the Sesame Chicken is praised for its crispiness and juiciness, even after being packed for takeout. The Crab Rangoons are the customer's favorite, with a crisp wrapper and a good amount of crabby and cream cheese filling.
Another customer also had a positive experience, stating that the food was seasoned well, filling, and delicious, particularly the Beef Noodles. They mentioned that they would be ordering from Young Kong again.
However, not all reviews were as favorable. One customer found the food to be merely "okay" and "generic Chinese," and had a concerning experience when picking up their order late at night, describing the area as "ghetto" with people who appeared to be under the influence of drugs and "gangsters" outside the restaurant.
Overall, Young Kong seems to offer a mixed dining experience, with some customers praising the value, quality, and taste of the food, while others have had less favorable encounters. The restaurant's popularity and consistency seem to vary, but it remains a popular American-Chinese takeout option in the area.
