We had our wedding at The Sagamore in Sandwich and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, Nicole Sabina and Katlyn went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. We had over 190 guests and not once did it ever feel overwhelming — they handled every detail flawlessly and with such professionalism.

I love the Sagamore. Their food is delicious and everyone is so so nice. It gets lonely on the cape in the Winter. This is a good way to have a great time with great people AND DELICIOUS FOOD AND WINE.

The Sagamore is a wonderful, family-owned restaurant in a charming and quaint building with breathtaking grounds, offering a beautiful location that feels like stepping back in time. It is a popular venue for major life events, including weddings and celebrations of life, where the staff and party coordinators are described as awesome, professional, accommodating, and angels who handle everything with care and attention to detail. The event spaces, including a large tent with magical string lighting and a new Oyster Room, are put together beautifully. The team is transparent, knowledgeable, and quick to respond, ensuring a perfect and seamless experience even in inclement weather, with solutions like heaters and umbrellas.
The food is fantastic and fabulous, receiving many compliments. Menu highlights include a delicious lobster Benedict for breakfast, along with basic breakfast items and chicken and waffles. For dinner, the bacon and scallop pizza, New England Clam Chowder, Haddock Chowder, and rich Lobster Bisque with large portions of lobster are standout dishes. The whole belly clams are good, though sometimes a little underdone. For weddings and events, the buffet and seated meals are praised, with specific mentions of the bistro steak (sometimes a little tough), the short rib, local halibut, champagne vegetable risotto, and a mashed potato bar in martini glasses. Passed hors d'oeuvres like the maple-glazed sea scallop wrapped in bacon, crispy risotto ball & marinara, fried chicken, and Liege sugar waffle with hot honey are also delicious. The drink selection is great, with a large variety of wines, beers, prosecco, Guinness, seltzers, and ciders. The coffee is good, and the service from the servers is efficient and a delight. Overall, it is a must visit for a delightful experience and the taste of New England.
