We had over 190 guests and not once did it ever feel overwhelming — they handled every detail flawlessly and with such professionalism. The food was incredible, our guests are still raving about it, and the energy of the night was everything we hoped for. The vibe was amazing, the space was beautiful, and once the music started, the dance floor turned into a full-on party that never slowed down. “they're horrible at taking orders , in the past 5 months not sure if new owner new cooks, or just the lack of training but the food it trash ! I used to love this place but either they mess up on the pizza it's cardboard box nasty flat and the subs are so filled with meat ( turkey) it's falling out the sides breaking the whole roll itself barely any lettuce or pickles! last time I got a turkey sub the bread was hard as a rock and it had barley any turkey meat , what is going on with this place !?! they're rude when you order and it's a pickup waste of my gas for sure and money I won't be ordering again this place went room 5 star to zero lost a great customer get your crap together honestly why are you packing rhe sub with one much meat for it to just fall out that's such a lack of effort horrible service and they don't ever take accountability EVER!!“

“I like The Bog Tavern and meet friends there, often for lunch. Like today~for my birthday! I should have gone with my gut and ordered my usual fried chicken sandwich instead of the Lobster Roll, which was a ($38.00) Lunch Special. I was speechless when our server(amazing Jordan) brought it out. It was a mealy, measly serving of lobster meat on a limp roll, with no lettuce to hold it together. And it tasted bland. Bog: Summer is almost here~ you need do to a MUCH better job with the classic Cape Cod Lobster Roll ~or take it off the menu!“

“Tonight, we spontaneously explored Ella’s Wood Fired Kitchen in Wareham, and I'm thrilled we did. Despite having no reservation, we were promptly seated in a cozy corner near the bar. Our server quickly attended to us, delivering refreshing waters and delightful traditional mules. The highlight was the special pomegranate margarita with reposado and pomegranate simple syrup – truly amazing. For starters, we indulged in fried pork ribs, a Caesar salad with exceptional homemade croutons that had a cheese filling and focaccia with garlic Parmesan oil dip. The generous slices of focaccia were a personal favorite and very easy to pull apart. Moving on to the main course, we savored Chicken Parm, TAGLIATELLE bolognese, the house special surf & turf with scallops, and the WOOD GRILLED NY STRIP OR 6 OZ. FILET MIGNON with smashed fingerlings, roasted onion, shishito peppers, horseradish crema, and chimichurri. The in-house-made pasta added a delightful touch, and the rave reviews for the special surf and turf almost led to a second helping. Unable to resist, we took home pizzas – margarita, three cheese pepperoni, and sausage ricotta. For dessert, we all enjoyed a pistachio toffee cake in a mason jar with pistachio gelato and dulce de leche sauce. The entire meal was a delight, and our server's kindness and excellent recommendations enhanced the experience. We're eagerly looking forward to returning, perhaps opting for seats at the bar next time. The restaurant's charming decor, candlelit ambiance, and consistently busy atmosphere make it a highly recommended dining spot.“

“Just was visiting the area and wanted a burger. A great place to grab a drink in an old school atmosphere pub. I never would have thought peanut butter and jelly combined in a burger would be something that would work but wow the combination of peanut butter with the salted bun really worked. Added Cajun fries with chipotle aioli sauce which was delicious. Also tried the pretzel and that didn’t last long at the table to so no picture. Everyone at the table got a different burger and everyone was satisfied with the food.“

The raw platter, clam chowder with a stuffie, seafood bake, almond & cornflakes crusted haddock, & hot dog were all incredibly flavorful. Excellent service from Felicia too! We loved our dinner experience so much we went back the following day. The Bloody crafted by Salina was a highlight, paired with a pickle shot and pickle martini. Our meal began with chips & salsa, then a hot dog, cubano sandwich, and finished with a gigantic lobster roll - everything tasted great.“
