“We ate at Shi Daxia hotpot after our first Red Sox game. It was an amazing end to an amazing day. My son got a baseball at his first Red Sox game. The mascots came up and took photos with us. Then to top it all off, we went to the restaurant at 10pm and they said we could have dinner there quickly. They were so polite about it. The meat at the hotpot was fresh and delicious.

“We are doing a world cruise on the Coral Princess and went to Yankee Lobster for lunch. It was absolutely delicious, heaps of lobster in the roll and fries too. My hubby had a roast chicken sandwich with fries and a Fresh Lobster Ale as well and he loved it. We had a recommendation from our tour guide and a taxi concierge... so we knew it had to be good when the locals say to go there. “Wow I took a cocktail class here last night and it was so much fun!! Sailor was a fantastic teacher and I learned a lot in a really cool space. We made a bees knees and a daiquiri, they were both fabulous. You can really tell there is a high attention to detail. Drinks on the regular menu were also really good (and well-priced). “Whenever I visit this side of the town I always visit here for food clothing or grocery shopping or sometimes just go upstairs and see the great view of Boston. Never had a chance to organize an event here but maybe next time. Always clean and neat, love the maintenance, housekeeping, cleaner or who is in charge of janitors room, spotless and well maintain all the time. Never had any issue so far except the traffic outside.“

We ordered bacalao croquettes, grilled octopus, gambas al ajillo, papas bravas. I have to say, my favorite tapas was the bacalao croquettes and the papas bravas - I know they have two kind of papas bravas, one with chorizo and and the regular- we ordered the regular.

If I had a bigger stomach, I would love to try their sweet French toast because it looked amazing on someone’s table!!! I loved the new drink “Ginger date latte with oat milk”. It had such good flavor. I only wish the milk was thoroughly steamed, but it was only lukewarm. But, overall, I like Tatte a lot and would definitely return when I visit Boston next time.

“We had a wonderful time at Barrell Z House this past Saturday. Our bartender, dressed in Germany garb for Oktoberfest, was so friendly and helpful. We had our little dog Ella with us and was made to feel welcome. Our bartender even brought us a fresh bowl of water for her. We got some delicious sirloin sliders for us and doggie biscuits with PB for Ella from the food truck. My husband and I enjoyed the IPA. We tasted two different types, one more fruity and aroma, the other more hoppy. We’re hop heads and both agreed that the more hoppy one was our fav! They have a nice, shady outdoor area with Adirondack chairs, a great space to soak up the beer and sunshine these early fall days.“
