Down here on a long weekend from the North Shore. Absolutely amazing restaurant. The atmosphere, service, quality of food and drink are second to none. Our 2 daughters have food allergies and they accommodated them with ease. Our server George was Top Shelf all around. Best Crock of French Onion I have ever had, the flatbreads were amazing, and the martinis were to die for. When we received the tab it was very reasonable. Looking to come back tomorrow for seconds!
Ordered a NY strip not trimmed to restaurant standard s 1/3 was fat it was block cut all sinue. fat.back chain left on.serverd a vane steak for rare took a while to trim it to make it chewable tiny portion no salad ask for gravy turned out to be chicken thicken with starch . Bouncy Unusable ..place lacks professional kitchen touches and training ..it is Wednesday night off season the 3 others enjoyed.. Worth a try
My husband and I stumbled across Brewster Inn and Chowder House while staying at the Captain Freedman in 1994 when he proposed. The chowder is the best we've ever had and worth making the trip from Maryland every year since.
